This is complicated. I was at this Chuck E. Cheese for about 2 hours and I did have a great time. There was a fundraiser for my daughter’s school, so there was a lot of fun being had. We really enjoyed playing the games and the two floor layout. Unfortunately, there were cons as well like others have mentioned the bathrooms weren’t very clean. The food also isn’t great, but the BIGGEST problem I had was when we were trying to redeem our tickets for prizes. I was standing in line holding my baby in one arm and trying to keep my daughter from running off while standing in line for 10 minutes. Which although annoying is no big deal, then some guy comes up behind me and stands there for all of 30 seconds when he gets out of the prize line and walks up to the desk where you pay. The next thing I know the guy behind that counter is coming over to the prize desk and helping him. WHAT? Do you think I’m standing in line for my health? Anyways I was NOT happy. Would I go back? I sure don’t want to, but these kids can be very convincing when it comes to going to Chuck E. Cheese. I also do have somewhat of a soft spot for businesses that do school fundraisers.

Liked it until today when an employee who was supposed to be scanning the parents and children’s numbers imprinted on our wrists(to make sure nobody walks out with someone else’s kids) was so busy chatting away with a friend that she totally ignored us and we walked out along with a couple of kids. My wife asked why she was not scanning everyone wrists as they left(isn’t that the whole idea of having a hidden number imprinted on parent and kid’s wrists and having an employee standing at the exit?) She fumed at us and said«ok fine». We tried to call and inform the manager but nobody has answered the phone so far after holding for 10 min. They really need to fire that lady for the sake of the safety of the kids there.

Jurassic Park ride! Basketball hoops! Skeeball! Pizza! Tickets! Prizes! Chuck E Cheese was my childhood. I remember going to Chuck E Cheese’s for birthdays and other parties. I thought the pizza tasted great, environment was thrilling, and children were happy! That though, was 15+ years ago and back in my home state of California. Flash forward 15 years and here I am in Minnesota, ready to re-enter and re-live my childhood. Upon entrance, I could tell this Minnesota location was lacking something. The mood, environment, vibe… just wasn’t there. This place was dead to say the least, granted it was a Monday evening… maybe the kids were busy sleeping or doing homework. Who knows. Anyhow, there was not a lot of kids here. Kids also did not seem to be having fun. Everything looked run down and old and there was like no staff wandering around. Anyways, I came here with my girlfriend cause she needed to use the restroom before visiting the beautiful Centennial Lakes right by. We both felt this place was lacking. Maybe it’s cause we’re 10 – 15 years older and the games just looked boring… but I don’t think so. Something is different at this Chuck E. Cheese. Perhaps it’s management or just a poor showing day. Something needs to change at this location, or else it’ll be going out of business soon.

The Good: This Chuck E Cheese location has 2 levels and by far the largest one i’ve been to. Great place for kids to come and play. They have great games too. The Bad: prices have gone up. Used to be 1 token = 1 quarter, now it’s higher, but I just look for coupons instead. The food is still bad.

This place is absolutely disgusting! I came here with my son for him to play some games and to have lunch. When we got there I could not find a table to sit at because every table was dirty. It looked liked several of the tables had been unoccupied for quite some time and the employees have failed to bus the tables. I just had to find a dirty table to sit at I won’t bother to mention how the pizza was. It’s Chuck E Cheese I didn’t expect much. chuck E Cheese offers a salad bar that the low class clientele seems to just help themselves without paying. I observed numerous people just taking the salad bar even though they failed to pay for it I was shocked to see such trashy people in Edina. I don’t know if Chuck E Cheese buses the in Section 8 garbage from Minneapolis to come here, but that’s what it sure looked like. When it came to the games several were broken but still took your money. Clearly no signs were posted on them that they were out of order. Good luck finding an employee to give you a refund. Also the games that actually work are a total ripoff. The floor was disgusting. Garbage is strewn across the floor that has never been picked up Just a warning: don’t lose site of your valuables because this great clientele will help them selves if you take your eyes off it. This place needs to shut down immediately!

The only thing great about this place is the 2 levels. Both bathrooms were disgusting. Poopy diapers on the sink and floor, urine and toilet paper all over the floor. smelled like something died in there. I spoke with a woman who said she was the manager„ I believe iliana was her name. I told her how disgusting it was, and she said oh I bet… and walked away. Others not in our group told the employees, and they said they would get to it when they could. Hours later around close… nothing had been done. Don’t go there unless you want pink eye or some other sickness. I’ve got pictures and sent them to corporate.

I wish this place would go out of business and their employees can go find other minimum wage jobs. Clearly they are miserable working here.

We took our kids here for my daughters birthday. I have been to Chuck E cheese locations before, so I know what to expect. However, this particular location has management and quality control issues. When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was the mess. Napkins, coin cups and mashed up food all over the floor. A large majority of tables were dirty and not cleared. They seemed to have enough staff but they didn’t seem to be doing much. Also many games were out of order and some were eating tokens. This is a fantastic business location, but needs a little boost in management.

It’s Chuck E. Cheese. You already know what to expect: ok pizza, ok salad bar, and insanity. But think of your kid’s face when you bring him here, especially if it’s a surprise. Totally worth it, right? Right.

I need to start by saying that this is the best Chuck-E-Chees ever! I know they are all the same. Terrible pizza, a less-than-mediocre salad bar, disgustingly dirty games, etc.(However, this one was less dirty than most I have been to.) Let’s be real though, you don’t come here for the food. You come to get your gaming on! The highlight of this place is the split levels. You have to order your food, tokens, etc. from the first lever. But, if you so desire, you can sit upstairs. They will still bring your food to you, it is still safely contained within the restaurant, and you have a view of Centennial Lakes Park. Not bad for an adult! Now, I don’t get to Chuck-E-Cheese that often. But, this one seemed to have more and better games than others I have been to. Maybe because it is in Edina? Either way, the prices are standard.(If you join their email club, they send you monthly discounts.) If you find that you have to go to Chuck-E-Chees for any reason, go to this one. We both know that neither one of us is dying to go here, but if you need to, this one has the edge.

Why isn’t this place cooler? Literally. I’d like to thank the parents of all of my kids’ friends for never hosting a birthday party here. I don’t care about the pizza(which I didn’t try) or even the noise level(crazy loud, but expected) What kills me is the air conditioning. I only went to CEC for the air conditioning. And it failed me. The kids had fun, the grandparents seemed fine. The crowd was fine. The games were fine(skeeball!) But subpar air conditioning = I’m not going back, not unless it is a drop off party.

We have not been to chuck e cheese in a year, but the last time we went the pizza was basically like eating a stale loose leaf folder. The games are really a rip-off and prizes are like junk from a garage sale in South America. They let way too many kids in the food area. If they improve the pizza, i might take the kids back. The games are fun, but overpriced. Why can’t they get some real prizes that kids can use? and are affordable. The cake is so-so.

My 4-year old had a wonderful time at a birthday party here. I found the place incredibly overstimulating, but the kids seem to love it. The only quiet place was the bathroom — which incidentally was on the gross side(even for a place that caters to kids). Really sticky floors, mess of soap by the sink, full trash cans, and I won’t even get into the toilets. There’s a great Kiddie Land for the younger toddlers, with easy games and rides set away from the older kids. They have an efficient birthday party set-up and a kid-friendly pizza and chocolate cake menu. My one complaint on the birthday area is that the tables are very close together, and many simultaneous birthday parties are really packed in. The kids don’t seem to mind being overcrowded, but it’s tough on the servers and parents. My daughter had such a great time here that I’m sure some day it’ll be my turn to host a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. I can’t say I’m looking forward to it, but what doesn’t kill me… and so on.

Had the boys’ birthday party here(their birthdays are a day apart so we celebrate them on the same day) … booked everything on-line, got a confirmation call on the Friday before the party, everything was set, right? Well, sort of. There was a bit of a line out front as people were getting checked in and out so we had to wait a while. When we got inside, they had only set up for one birthday boy. The other one said, «Where’s my balloon?!» We told the host who said he’d take care of it, but didn’t. He did bring out the tokens, but he was harried — running from table to table. I felt sorry for him. After waiting for about 30 mins, though, we asked someone when the food would arrive. Apparently, you’re supposed to go play games for 45 mins and then they bring the food out … but our host forgot to tell us because he was so busy. To make up for it, they gave us some extra tokens. They also got the poor guy some more help. After that, everything went really smoothly. I could tell that they really wanted to make sure we were happy with the birthday party. The last time I was at Chuck E Cheese was probably about 6 years ago or so. I remembered the pizza tasting like cardboard and the cake being not much better. The food has definitely improved. The pizza, while still not great, is edible and the chocolate cake really tastes like chocolate! Overall, I was impressed with Chuck E Cheese and how they have improved. The birthday child gets: extra tokens, an inflatable crown, a medal, and a big balloon to take home. The birthday package includes 2 slices of pizza per child(more than enough for us), drinks(free refills), and tokens. You can bring your own cake & ice cream(no other food allowed) or have them provide it. They also do gift bags, which is really nice. Everything was organized well and the boys had a blast. Thanks, Chuck E Cheese, for making it a day to remember for them!
