Sweet Cakes

I brought my little sister here to try it out. She’s a big fan of chocolate so she tried «A Little Bit of Heaven.» It was even too chocolaty for my little sister and that is really saying something. I thought it was good but too rich for me. I wouldn’t mind going back and trying something else though.
I was very impressed with the place and how good everything looked. The owner was also super friendly. I’ll definitely go back again and give it another try.

I was excited that a cupcakery had opened closer to home after having many great experiences at other local bakeries. The cupcakes are dry and misshapen. The icing tastes like lard more than buttercream and the recipes are off. I tried their version of Red Velvet once only to find that they were actually cherry/​amaretto flavored. I won’t be back.

I finally made it to this place! They close at 6 and aren’t open on Sunday and for some reason at 5:55 and on Sundays I want a cupcake. Typical.
So yesterday I got off work early and booked it to their shop, getting there in just the nick of time! They had 4 cupcakes left. Two birthday cake and two mudslides. I got all four! I ate 1 and ¾ before collapsing from sweet, sweet cupcake ecstasy…
If you come earlier in the day you’ll have more cupcake options. They have their everyday cupcakes (you can see them listed on their website) and they also have weekly specials (which they post on Facebook). This week’s was mudslide (a chocolate, caramel, Bailey’s deliciousness) and s’mores. If you make an order of a dozen or more of one kind of cupcake you can choose from any cupcake they’ve ever made. I’ll have to do that since I missed out on last week’s beer and bacon. I wish I didn’t arrive so close to closing so I could’ve taken in the place a little better. I’ll have to go back soon and savor it all. Oh! Don’t forget milk!
