I hesitate to write this, as it would be to my advantage for people to believe this is not a great place, it would be easier to get an appointment. I have been going here myself and taking my two teenagers for several years. I have yet to have an unpleasant experience. Dr. Panter is actually requested by name by my kids, he takes his time to explain to them exactly what is happening, and does not treat them as if they cannot comprehend their own treatment. The staff is friendly, however, and has even sent us over to Cedar Crest when they were booked up. It can be hard to get through on the phone to get an appointment, especially during busy times. And they seem to have some problems with their phones, I have been hung up on by the system. I would give them five stars, but this phone problem has been going on for a while, and it can be a frustrating experience so I am removing a star for the fact that they have not switched over to some other service to get the phones to work consistently.

THEYDONOTDOEMERGENCYCARE!!! Basically on the phone the receptionist stated they had to schedule procedures, need pre-authorization, etc. They don’t do EMERGENCYCARE. Would never go there!!!

This clinic is okay though I prefer the one in Cedar Crest the staff team is much more cheerful and the entire environment feels less like a doctors office than this one does. I saw Dr Burger who was very nice and seems to know what he’s doing. He is an ex-surgeon so if you have anything you need done he’s probably your guy.

Apauling costumer service, from reception to medical professions. I called and left messages over a period of four days to make an appointment. No one from this office returned my call. I had to call the cedar crest office and they scheduled me in at the Edgewood location. When I finally was seen, my physical was a joke. The nurse practitioner was in and out of the room in 15 minutes and failed to address any of my concerns. I can accept that professionalism does not come naturally to some. But I can not accept blatant acts of disrespect. If you desire any degree of reliable health care, do not subject yourself to the Mcleod Medical Center in Edgewood. Chances are they won’t answer anyways.
