Super sad to order a large Italian with everything and get what is basically an American sub with provolone cheese. What happened to the salami, oil and vinegar, etc. all bread and a tad bit of ham, everyday, boring deli ham with some lettuce and tomato. Looking for a great Italian sub hoagie in Harford County… this won’t be it!

Zero décor. Order at the counter they bring you food but… …the great ingredients that are well-prepared make up for all this as do the great characters making your food. Stick to the basics! Oh yeah, fresh mozzarella on the antipasto salad. Yum.

I went there and wasn’t impressed with the look of the place. But I heard thru the grapevine that they had great crab cakes. I doubted it but boy was I wrong. The crab cakes are so good I get chills thinking about them. And the staff is super nice. Don’t judge a restaurant by its look! Thanks so much for the delicious food.

Very very good pizza the best I have had since being here and I have tried a lot of pizza places this one is the closest to New York style for me. My reason for only giving 4 stars is because I ordered a xl cheese and it was kind of small to be a xl in my opinion. And also I ordered bbq wings and they gave me naked wings with a side of mild sauce instead other than that my husband said the wigs were good and the pizza as well I will be back here for sure

Five stars, all day — no excuses. After sifting through local pizza spots on Unilocal I found this place while visiting family. I saw a review for a seafood pasta that peaked my interest. OMG, it was awesome. Two crab cakes, jumbo shrimp, scallops over penne pasta in a tomato Alfredo like sauce. It comes with a side salad and two garlic knots. I requested Greek salad and they said that was fine. The entrée is more than enough to share. We also go a half order of cinnamon bites — yummmmm and a slice of buffalo chicken pizza for around $ 28. The owner/staff was really friendly also. I will return!!!

This is the best combo pizza/crab cake joint I ever been to. Of course this is probably the only one I have been to. I enjoyed my crab cake sandwich and slice of pizza. My wife’s eggplant parm grinder was also great. If you feel like Italian, get Italian… as this place is truly great at it.

Love their pizza, best in the area by far! Always happy to serve everyone how comes in and you just can’t be the quality. The military personnel on Edgewood/APG often get pizza from here for events and often for lunch. They have other great items on the menu but I love the Famous a White Pizza. Great flavors all on one piece. Only negative was that I ordered a pizza to go and it leaked out of the box and on my car seat.

Ok… not that often I run across a place that really sticks out. Pizza place for crab cakes? Absolutely! They were fantastic. Huge portion and huge chunks of lump. The garlic rolls are incredible. The pizza looked, and smelled just as good, although I didn’t try it this time around. Very friendly place… I will be back!

I consider myself a crabcake connoisseur. They have the best crabcakes ouside of Baltimore bar none. The yeast garlic bread is to die for. You have to stop at this little strip mall dive. Simply delicious! A must have if you like crabcakes. The pizza is great also…

Delicious pizza stop! Unilocaled it between our VA and NJ travels. The spinach, veggie and garlic slice was flavorful, as was the white veggie slice. My husband liked the plain slices. The owner is also a real Italian, so that helps with authenticity. He’s also very nice. Definitely give it a go.

Have only stopped for lunch and went with a standard cheesesteak everytime, but it is worth it. Great sandwich and comes out quick. Will be trying the pizza or other options on future visits.

Got some pizza and garlic rolls to go for lunch. Had a Sicilian pizza slice with pepperoni and some garlic knots. Both were really good. The thick crust Sicilian slice was great. The crust was just crunchy enough to give that texture. The knots were great, though I found the dipping sauce to be lacking. The guys ringing me up we’re great and gave great service.

Some friends who live in Belcamp took us to Sal’s Italian Eatery(aka Fortunato Brothers Pizza), promising that we would not be disappointed with the food. They were absolutely right. I went in expecting to order a standard pizza or calzone, but instead opted for a seafood pasta special(2 crab cakes, shrimp, and scallops over penne pasta with a rose sauce for $ 19.99). It was delicious, and I was barely able to finish the meal. The crabmeat was fresh, with little or no filler, and the sauce was quite tasty. We also loved the twisted, seasoned bread which was served as an appetizer. Everyone loved their meals. I also like that they had a small assortment of bottled microbrews in the drink cooler. Sal’s is located in a large strip mall. It’s an informal, sit-down restaurant where you purchase your food at the counter and they deliver it to your table when it’s ready. So it would be great for large groups and those with kids. The restaurant was very clean, well lit, and new inside. Our server(apparently the owner’s son) could not have been more friendly and pleasant. We’re looking forward to trying their pizza the next time we’re in the area.

Dined on 11/19/2011 I should’ve done this sooner… they deserve 5 frikin stars!!! Doesn’t seem like the type of restaurant to take your wife to for your wedding anniversary, but thanks to a major paper due over the weekend we were stuck at home!!! So tonight we decided to go all out… yuppers anniversary dinner at a pizzeria… lol! But we didn’t eat pizza, but that would have been awesome too!!! We decided to try their crab cakes tonight… OMG!!! My wife had the Jumbo crab cake special. They really mean jumbo… this thing made Burger King’s Double Whopper look like a Wendy’s Jr cheeseburger… lol. You gotta look at the pictures… the thing is monstrous… and almost no fillers, just lots and lots of jumbo lump crab… yummmmm!!! I ordered the Seafood pasta special with 2 large crab cakes, 6 jumbo shrimp, and a bunch of medium sized bay scallops with more lump crab meat spread throughout the rose(pink) sauce over the ziti. Again see the pictures. Fortunato’s crab cakes made a lot of fancy seafood restaurants look chintzy and cheep. But the best part was they were frikin awesome… YYYuuuuuummmmmmmmm!!! As Guy Fieri says…“This is Killer”!!! Kowabunga Dude!!!
