NOTCLOSEDONMON. Very good, generous cup of coffee. Lemon cheesecake muffin delish! Even 2 day old(discount section) maple scone was yummy. There’s a gorgeous and delicious baked apple that’s a must-try. Healthy breads available too. Will definitely return.

I travel the world looking for the best cinnamon buns/sweet rolls, and this may be the one! Nice little bakery just a few miles off the freeway.

This is a special bakery tucked in the hills of Edgewood. The cream cheese pumpkin muffins are amazing, and the apple dumpling is a 5-star dessert. I don’t have a great sweet tooth so I appreciate the owner’s focus on quality cake and pastry instead of frosting. It’s tempting to make the drive from Abq to Edgewood often, and we probably will!

The desserts here are awesome! This is a new business in Edgewood so I’ve only been in once so far, but I will definitely be back! The selection is great, the bakery was clean, and the desserts were delicious — highly recommended!

New Mexico is having a state-wide breakfast burrito competition and my family and I, in the interest of objective science, have decided to try all the offerings in the running. We took a trip out to Edgewood to sample the goods at Katrinah’s East Mountain Grill, which are also reviewed, but the real treat of the trip was this little bakery right next door. It’s family owned and operated and we got to watch Lisa, the baker, making a special German’s Chocolate Cake. My(diabetic) dad was thrilled to find a sugar-free apple dumpling. His only complaint was that he only got one! Mom and I split the cupcake of the day, which was a lemon cupcake with raspberry and lemon curd filling and buttercream on top. Wow. We also sampled the Lemon Cheesecake Doughnut, because really, how could we not? It was thick, a little too bready for my taste, but the lemon pastry cream filling was divine. We had regular coffee, which was excellent; very smooth and piping hot and they offer a full menu of espresso and any fancy coffee your heart could desire. If you are driving through on I-40, it is a convenient on-off to cupcake and coffee bliss. Well worth it. They close mid-afternoon, so get there early and get some treats for the road. We begged them to open a location in Albuquerque but until then, we will happily make the drive.
