This mammoth pizza is cheesy and all Wisconsin lovin. (Canned mushrooms though, yuck) The crust is a little floury and something I don’t care for but overall the recipe hasn’t changed since I was small. It takes a loooong time to make this pizza because they’re actually tossing that dough around. That red sauce is made every morning too!
The lunch specials are what makes this place a winner. Just ask about them when you go in. starts at 11a and I think it goes until 2 or 3? Either way it’s a super easy way to and elephant load of food for under 11 $. When you order chicken strips, get the bbq and honey in separate packets then mix that deliciousness together for dipping pleasure. These people assume people want this combination. If you’re brave, add the ketchup. Kids, after smokey nights, call it munchie sauce.
Breadsticks deserve to be dunked in nacho cheese sauce so trust me splurge a little and get it! The lunch special also has personal pizzas for less than 4 $. It’s just as good as any other time but you can’t beat the price!
The owners are local and the passion/​sass is still there. It’s a place worthwhile getting carry out or delivery from!

The place is hit or miss, some night the pizza is on point and delicious, other nights you’re better off making a frozen pizza. All in all its an ok place to get a pie but don’t have huge expectations. Also stick to pizzas from this place the rest of the things on this menu while ok are not the best. In the long run I will continue to get food from them because it’s the only pizza joint around but I wish they would go back to the quality they had 2 years ago.

I called them an hour and a half before they close to order a pizza, they told me they weren’t taking any more delivery orders. That’s a complete and total failure of business operation. Either get more drivers or don’t deliver.

Had pizza delivered to us and it was very delicious. Only downside, it is a little pricey.

Called in an order to deliver… turns out to be a no show… so if you are banking on your dinner coming from them, you might want a back up plan… called to order at 7… after 9 pm still no pizza. save your time and stock up on some frozen stuff!

I have eaten at Mario’s a couple of times. The first time I LOVED it! I liked it so much I wanted Mario’s the next time I got pizza. The second time, it was really not that great. So I think that Mario’s is a little hit-​or-​miss. If you go there when it’s a good night, you won’t be disappointed. But if you go on the wrong night, well… Overall it has a pretty good taste. Not outstanding, but not bland. And it’s a little pricey in my opinion.
