The Moose Hollow condo association is the worst. They barely plow, don’t bother painting parking lines on the street, common areas are in disrepair and most importantly of all, renters are second class citizens here. As for the parking lines(or lack of), I got a ¼″ deep dent on the wheel arch on my new car. because parking is a free for all here(no parking lines) with people, like the person in the white disposable car(Kia Rio) dinging me. A disposable Korean car causing that much damage to a heavy German car(VW) must of really hit me hard. People try to wedge into spots that are too small or use 2 – 3 spots by parking in between spots. I rented here for nearly a year. My landlord was upside down on the place and didn’t vacation here. Reality is that I was helping the landlord avoid foreclosure even with my $ 1000 rent which I was told is less then the mortgage and association dues. The association here does not realize that renters are customers, too, and I was keeping my unit afloat by avoiding foreclosure. My understanding is that when a condo goes into foreclosure, the bank does not pay association dues. Here are a few things that second class renters can’t do: Use the pool — homeowners only per the sign. Use the fitness center — homeowners only per the sign. Get mail — had to go through the hassle and added expense of renting a UPS store box. Bills had to goto the homeowner and I needed to trust the homeowner that they are charging me the right amount. Association just refused to sender all my mail and didn’t tell the landlord about this made up restriction before renting to me. Have dogs — homeowners only per the sign. Is the dog that ran up to me out of nowhere and tried to bite me owned by one of these superior homeowners? Walls are paper thin and I can easily hear the people below me. Rent here if you really want, but realize that the association sees you as garbage as is the condition of this place.

First rate vacation condos with stunning views of the Wasatch mountains, about 10 minutes from Powder Mountain and 25 minutes to Snowbasin. Powder Mountain has a shuttle that comes right into the complex so that’s convenient. The smaller Wolf Mountain is visible from Moose Creek and about 10 minutes away. Pineview Reservoir is about 5 minutes away, featuring great ice fishing in the winter, and fishing/water skiing in the summer. The outdoor hot tubs are great to relax in after a day on the slopes, especially when it’s snowing, the perfect blend of heat below the water surface and cold above. The complex has an excellent fitness center, and the folks in the welcome center(Brandi and Blair) are great. Free wifi in the complex but I recommend you order service — the free service is very slow.

Shhhh, don’t tell anyone about Pineview reservoir and MooseHollow condos. I rented a fabulous 2 bedroom condo with two small balconies a building away from a beautiful pool. We spent the day on a sandy beautiful lake beach with water that was warm. If the boat trailer didn’t need work,(gotta love owning a boat) we would have been on the boat and the beach(tomorrow) The day on the beach was perfect– no need for a boat, but bring rafts and such. Nice family friendly, beautiful view, nobody with obnoxious load music.
