I cannot and will not ever go to this park again. The first time I went will surely be my last time. This park is nothing, and has nothing, not even a breath-taking view. My first visit there, I observed an African American man walk around the park, holding a gun, and patrolling around as if he was guarding something. I’ve never feared for my life as much as I did that day. Now, I am not a racist, but it is just unfortunate that it had to be an African-American man who was like this. I literally ran away from the scene, as soon as I saw him pull out a gun.

Most would probably say this park has nothing to offer. I however found it to be amazing. The highlights for me are the stone work left from the remains of the old Leaksville Cotton Mill and the Barnett Canal with the waterfall hidden behind the stone walls. I walked around taking some images of the stone works and then heard the waterfall and climbed through an old window-way through the stone wall and found an amazing waterfall. It is worth a visit. I hope someone cleans up the broken beer bottles and trash that I saw. Next visit I’ll have to bring my bucket and grabber to get some of the junk up that can be a detraction to such an amazing place. I’m posting some images from my visit.
