A-Z Rental

I’m sorry, but the guys in the equipment rental shop are NOT easy to work with at all. I would avoid this place if at all possible. They treated me rudely when I called to inquire about a van rental: I was trying to arrange transport for some party equipment we rented and they acted like I was asking for their first born. I’m not sure why they feel the sense of entitlement but there are more choices around town. This wasn’t the first time I have dealt with them and I will make it a point for it to be the last.

In my one experience with these guys they had the equipment I asked for, explained (briefly) how it worked, and the equipment worked the way it was supposed to. The pricing was fair, though the only options were renting for 3 hours or 24 hours. I’d have liked to see something in between.
However there was zero effort made from a customer service perspective. If they were any less interested in creating a pleasant experience they’d have to be actively rude. As it was they were simply passively disinterested in simple politeness or normal human conversational conventions. If you don’t walk in carrying a 5 gallon bucket of testosterone in each hand you’re probably going to be intimidated.
So, did they provide the equipment I needed when I needed it and at a fair price? Yep. But I’m not really looking forward to going back.
If you can find a rental place where they don’t give a heaving sigh before managing to bark out «Who’s next?» when it’s your turn to be served, you might decide to go that direction.

I hate giving out one star reviews, but this place earned it ten times over.
— they weren’t open when they said they would be, so we had to wait for them to open
— our reservation seemed to have gotten lost in their system
— the first trailer we were given was broken (wouldn’t lock, broken door, etc…)
— the second (replacement) trailer was NOT water-​tight/​safe from the elements
— their customer service was extremely lacking
— no discount was offered for the faulty trailer we were given
Save your money, time, and hassle, and go elsewhere.
