Came for a family week-end. The owners are delightful, the breakfast is wonderful, and the inn is charming. I highly recommend it!

FELLOW B&B ENTHUSIASTS… when I say«had to stay here», I really did«have» to stay here. There is no way I could drive by the Inn and not spend at least one night, which I have done fairly often over the past several years. Staying at Noon-Collins is like staying with family,(and not the type of family where you are counting the minutes until they leave!) I love this Inn and the cordial hosts, Lew and Jeanette; it is like a mini-vacation where you step back in time 75 years or so. This is not some over-priced, over-decorated, fussy place where you are afraid to sit on the furniture. The atmosphere is very warm, very inviting, very comfortable, and very relaxing. The mix of antiques and collectibles lends warmth that makes you feel«at home». The rates are great, breakfast delicious,(if I don’t sleep in), and there are wonderful restaurants within a stones throw. High Speed Internet and Cable TV are available, however, why not spend hours just walking around the Inn checking out all the eclectic pictures, old articles on the area, and the neat antiques, or sit & relax in the upstairs sun room? If you prefer clean, comfortable, nice old stone B&B’s that are not overly foo-foo, or the privacy of an intimate hotel, all I can say is…“try it, you’ll love it”!

Pros: Very reasonably priced. Close to the Ghost Town Trail. Owners allow you to keep your bicycle inside. Cons: Coffee is not available until 8:30 am when breakfast is served. A/C is a window unit which(at the instruction of the innkeeper) must be kept at medium, lest it freeze up. Without the window unit A/C, there is virtually no air circulating. There is a Sunoco station directly across the street, where coffee is available at 5:00 am(except on holidays). Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but not the greatest, either. I’d give this place a rather strong, «meh» rating.
