Perfect for my overnight stay in Eau Claire. Everything you want in a hotel with a few extras I didn’t expect. The staff were very friendly sincere and engaging. The feel is light and clean. As an added bonus the restaurant, Johnny’s Steakhouse, was the perfect place for an unbelievably good dinner with an old friend.

Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory New hotel. Really promising. Nice restaurant, workout facility etc. Just two problems: 1) The address listed on the website can’t be found by google maps OR my brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee nav system. After driving all around for an hour, ONE call and the clerk said«oh, try this DIFFERENT address. Problem solved. But WTF?! They KNOW the address on the web doesn’t get me there, but I have to find out the hard way? 2) Wi fi provider needs to be locked to the business end of a snow plow and driven at high speed through a storm. Could NOT get my work done. Nice TV is not a consolation.

New location(about a year old). Doesn’t look like your parents Holliday Inn! Updated exterior with slick green lights that make the place look pretty cool from the highway. Well done! Inside is a much modern reception area with a more open and trendy design.(I think they are playing«catch up» with the movement that Marriott has made with their Courtyards in the last few years). Pool is kind of weird«L» shaped, not sure why? Whirlpool and workout areas both seem about average it size and look clean. Rooms are large and very nice. Not sure of I received an upgrade but, mine had a fridge, microwave and sink. Cherrywood(like) cabinets are a nice touch. T.V. Is HD with tons of free movie channels. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom had both a stand up shower and a bath tub. Looks like I’m going to be working in EC a bit more in the future, I will most likely make this my home away from home on my trips to Northwestern Wisc.

I’m just passing through and found this hotel to stay for the night. As soon as I walked in, I was a bit intimidated. I had been driving all day, and exhausted with a 9 month old whom had a dirty diaper. Everyone was nice and welcoming. There is a restaurant inside as well that also does room service but I ordered Jimmy Johns as I didn’t want a whole lot just before bed. The front office called to make sure I ordered and then sent the delivery guy up. There is a small light attached to the hair dryer and the toilet has the lower themselves seats. The only thing I found disappointing is the fact that the brand new refrigerator didn’t work. I would have called and said something but I was too tired. Now I’ll have to drink my code red Mountain Dew even though its not cold. Ugh.
