Quick delivery. Pizza is better than average. Chicken parm hero is fantastic.

This evening I ordered a chicken parm hero and a pepperoni calzone and the chicken parm was the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken was chewy, tough and tasted frozen or reheated. I would have gotten a better chicken breast from a fast food chain restaurant. For the price it is unbelievable they would serve something that was so horrible. I will never order from this restaurant again and warn others to stay away if they want quality food as this is not the place for fresh ingredients.

Awesome pizza place. We live very close and order from here all the time. The grandma pie is amazing. I also order entrees a lot of the time. I usually get the mussels marinara and it’s sooo good. It comes with tons of pasta, mussels, and side of really great bread. The eggplant parm is also to die for. They also get to our house within a half and hour which is amazing. Me and my boyfriend always get this when were hungover or have people over because there is so much food and people are always impressed by how good it is. The employees are very sweet too and always deal with my thousands of questions very politely. Haha. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area it’s awesome!!! I’m getting hungry just writing about maurizios ughhh…

Portion sizes are ginormous and delicious. Especially the chicken Fran! Yum! Service was also delightful and friendly. My girlfriend is currently in a food coma. Gotta go!

Typical pizza and good Sicilian slice. Plenty of wraps available too which makes them stand apart from the rest. Service is OK and ambience is fine. Visited on a weekend where the varieties of gourmet pizzas were just enough.

Cardboard, tasteless crust. Good cheese to sauce ratio. Could use more garlic and fresh basil. With so many excellent pie places not sure why this place is still in business.

$ 7 for 2 huge slices and a soda. The Pizza was incredible, but then again it is Jersey. The crust was perfect and the owner was really nice. I will go back if I am ever in the area.

Good food and reasonable service for me. I had two slices of meat lovers pizza and it was very tasty. Service was a little bit slow but there was only a few employees working.

It’s 10:30PM. Do you know where our pizza is? We sure don’t and neither does Maurizio’s! We ordered a pizza pie at 8PM and I’ve called twice since and every time I am told it’s «on the way». Needless to say, we will never be ordering from here again. If I could give negative stars I would. –hungry girl

Man, two stars is a bit of a stretch here. Was in NJ for work and was actually going to a place close to this one that apparently closed down. My coworker and I decided to try this place even though there weren’t that many Unilocal reviews and many of those were really good or really bad. Well, the really bad ones were certainly more accurate. The service wasn’t awful but it wasn’t good. Our waitress didn’t even notice our glasses were near empty for almost 5 minutes and we had to get her attention for her to notice them. She only had 3 tables to serve and one of them was already done eating. Oh, about the pizza, we ordered a Margharita Pizza and it actually tasted OK(hence the second star). However, it was delivered luke-warm! How sad is that? Did it sit around for a bit before it was delivered or did they just heat up a pie made earlier? Who knows. It was dissapointing. I am not a big fan of this place. #Yelp100

Think again … take your hand off the door handle and walk away. The food was horrible and the service was worse !

Major disappointment! Went here based on the strong reviews. Can’t recommend anything other than the pizza. We were told they had a house wine & tried it … Freezing cold industrial strength red wine: awful! Only time I would say go here is if u are staying at the Courtyard Marriott across the street and are starving. :-(

Solid Italian, a nice surprise across the street from our hotel. The espresso and fries were awesome!

The food was pretty good. Unfortunately the pizza toppings slide off pretty easily which makes eating pretty damn messy. I also had the chicken Cesar salad. It was pretty good and HUGE! I’d probably go back when I’m back in town.

My husband loves the special cheese steak, our daughter loves the pannini and I love the eggplant parmesan subs along with a large cheese pizza. We order at least once a week and never tired of their fresh italian bread.

Decided to order pizza, of course I was in New Jersey, what else would do? We don’t have real pizza in Massachusetts – just greasy greek. Didn’t want to travel all the way into Red Bank to Brothers, so we decided to order close to the hotel. I ordered a large cheese and a large fresh tomato and garlic.(it was Friday during Lent). This pizza had the look. The restaurant had the look. I could smell garlic outside. I am giving this place four stars because I think I just happened to not hit it right. No garlic on the pizza and a ton of oil on it. Very bland. Hubs didn’t want it at all. I tried the cheese one and although it had all the right looks and textures, I believe the sauce was too sharp and salty, kind of ruining the pizza. I am not sure I would go back again. I probably would go into Red bank to the pizza I have been missing since we left Jersey.

WOW! After an exhausting day at Six Flags, this place was well worth the five minute drive away from the 195! After eyeballing some of their creations, we opted for a fresh buffalo chicken pie, made with fresh mozzarella. With that in the oven, we split a six-pack of pepperoni bites as an appetizer. The owner, nice as can be(and from Brooklyn!), provided us a nice helping of marinara sauce to accompany our pepperoni bites, after we told him of the good things we had read in other reviews. The pizza was delicious, and I’ll definitely be skipping Six Flags dinnertime concessions to come to this gem of a pizzeria!

Maurizio’s is an awesome little Italian & pizza joint just across the street from the Courtyard Marriott I frequent when visiting the area on business. The food smells and tastes like authentic Sicilian/Italian offerings. I ordered a salad and a pizza one evening — which was a mistake! It was waaayyyyyy more food than I could eat by myself — and I ate too much as a result. But I did take the pizza to go and stashed it in the fridge of my hotel room to be ingested later. The pizza was simply awesome! Not your tired American pizza chain pizza — instead — very authentic and delicious! An interesting side note about the address — 613 is the address of the plaza or small shopping center where they are located — all of the businesses in this plaza have the same street number of 613 — and even more interesting — some go by the city name of Tinton Falls, while others go by Eatontown! I’d love to eat at Maurizio’s again!
