I normally don’t write reviews. But in this case I just had to. I recently call Lowe’s of Eatontown to come to give me an estimate on fencing and install. Prior to calling Lowe’s, I also received five other estimates from near and far. Much to my surprise, Lowes estimate was three times higher than the highest price. Every company that gave me an estimate used grade one or grade A fencing. anyone thats been to Lowes should know they don’t carry any grade A whatsoever. I would be lucky if what I bought would not warp or crack within days. My suggestions call for other estimates before using Lowe’s

It took forever for us to get a person to help us. I liked going to Lowes over home depot but no more. I think the selection is better at home depot. They tell me they have something in stock at another store. I drove all the way there and they couldn’t find it. I just think they should make sure the product is there before they make you drive all the way there. Futhermore the pricing is better at home depot. I just didn’t have a good over all experience.

Okay so I’ve been in here a couple times now. The first time I needed blinds cut and I’m a young female and feel out of place and lost in a store like this. I walked around aimlessly asking a few different employees for their assistance. One left and never returned and the other simply said this wasn’t their department and left me there. However, a young man named Jovan that works here was extremely helpful and outgoing and I meant to leave a review about this months ago but forgot. I went in again today with my boyfriend and had exactly the same experience searching for a halogen lightbulb and once again Jovan came to the rescue and was willing to help us when no one else seemed to care. Thank you so much, Jovan.

Mark in the Paint Dept is AWESOME! Everytime I need assistance & he’s there, he helps me out. He’ll walk me to what I need rather than point very nice. Great guy! I’ll only go to Lowes for paint b/c of him — great service! Went to Lowes for new doors. Shirley P was the first to help/educate me and she was EXCELLENT! Very informative, friendly & was patient with me b/c I really had no idea what I was doing — she was great! When I ordered the doors, I was assisted by Rick & Kevin — they were Great too! At checkout, Nina was extremely helpful with my new Lowes card, she was great! And Melissa(Manager) helped out when we had a problem with delivery date, she resolved it so quickly & was really nice! Makes the Home Depot look like a child store this Lowes has everything you need anymore. The staff is always very friendly and very kid friendly I highly recommend this Lowes.

Not a bad Lowes. I like the layout and they usually have what I am looking for. The staff is helpful and at least this Lowes has people who are available to help out and knowledgeable.

I have been going to Lowes for many years now. I’ve always preferred them over Home Depot. I have never been to this one till now. It is the weekend before the hurricane here and everyone is looking for generators. Lowes website says this store has some so I call to confirm. The girl tells me they do have them, but they are giving them to people that place phone orders with a credit card. OK, I said, I’ll do that. So she says, et me transfer you to the desk. She switches my call to another woman who tells me they are no longer taking phone orders and it is now first come first serve. Why they would do this and cause the inevitable problems that will arise from this situation is beyond me. but no time for logic… it’s off to Eatontown I go! I get to the store to fond about a dozen or so people standing on line at the desk to get their generators so I get in line. They are only helping people who have paid by phone or online. After a short while, someone decides to announce there are no more. Now according to the people on line with me, some were never given the option to pay by phone. Others were, and some like myself who were told they weren’t doing it. Multiple stories and the bottom line is the ineptitude of the store managment led to a lot of people being incovenienced when they didn’t have to be. There were no apologies, no explanations, NOTHING! I am going to contact the corporate office and hear what they have to say. That will determine whether or not I keep patronzing Lowes.
