A small but pretty comprehensive grocery store that looks like your typical co-op. They have a number of hot dishes you can take away so this is also a good alternative to the expensive restaurants on Orcas Island. They have a good variety of beers in stock as well.

I always stop here and shop here when I’m on Orcas. Friendly staff and lots of good food. Kyle, the owner is really helpful. The prices are decent, but you are on an island :) Try the whole chicken and some of the desserts. Mmmmm!

It is hard to tell but this is a(small) full service grocery store if your goal is organic food, grass-fed local meat and other staples that you might find in any food co-op. This is our kind of store. They have a small gluten free section, bulk foods, bulk coffee, produce, dairy and all the normal dry goods. It is small but we found almost everything we needed there except for diapers and deli meat. I walked in and breathed a sigh of relief. It is where we will shop when we are on Orcas from now on.

The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The food is fresh, local whenever possible, and full of good nutrition. Home Grown is the place in Eastsound that I shop when I visit.
