I had an issue with pain around my eye socket that caused me to go to the ER at Easton hospital. Dr. Brian was called into to exam me on a Sunday there. He couldn’t figure out a cause at the hospital and had me schedule an appointment at his office. He seemed annoyed in the ER – at the time I wrote it off as being called in on a Sunday – the attitude was still there at his office. He was very lacking in «bedside manners» at the office. And worst of all, his hands stunk of cigarette smoke. I went through with another follow-up with him. He was still as rude as ever. Worst of all, he was supposed to contact my physician with an update on what he felt it could have been. My doctor was less than pleased as well with their discussion on the phone and the lack of ever calling him back after my second appointment. Needless to say, I canceled my next appointment a week in advance. I politely said I would reschedule at another time when asked. 30 days later I get a letter in the mail informing me I was no longer a patient of Dr. Willard Brian because I failed to reschedule. Talk about obnoxious. Needless to say, I wasn’t coming back before that letter – after – I had to review his horrible service. It was several years ago now, but I won’t forget the single WORST medical professional I ever had the displeasure to be a patient of.

I spent my years from four to 18 struggling to see and embarrassed of my glasses. When I turned 18, my second specialist told me that my vision would never be corrected past 20⁄35 and 20⁄40 and that I’d never be able to wear soft contacts. With nothing to lose, I switched upon a recommendation to Dr. Willard and Perry. With an abundance of patience, they corrected my vision to 20⁄25 and tried every different soft and gas permeable lens option on the market, at long last settling on attractive glasses and custom soft lenses that have both greatly increased my quality of life. This duo always treated me with respect — despite my many unsubstantiated fears of deteriorating vision, retinal tears and glaucoma — and fielded endless questions and experimentation with glasses and contacts. At 25 now and living in a different region, I struggle to find a team half as willing or tolerant. Even now, they still pitch in when I need to order new lenses from a provider. Dr. Willard probably doesn’t have what one would call a warm personality, but he is conscientious, intelligent and caring. Perry is as friendly as they come, as is the office staff. I respect and highly recommend this team. Update: Today, I received a call from Perry. He asked how my struggle for new contacts was going here. He can’t even order me new lenses due to the amount of time that has elapsed since my last visit. It is SOCLEAR that they care. I’m visiting them when I go home to visit in September just because. This is a no brainer. Love them.

Don’t go there! I took my mom here and he didn’t know what’s wrong with her but managed to get the $ 165 office visit of course. He was actually reading a book about diagnosing her and still had no answer. Thus doctor needs more«practice» he has a bad attitude and made us feel stupid and like we were low class to him. His attitude maybe tolerable if he knew what he was doing but not in this case. Don’t go! Many other eye doctors in the Lehigh valley worth the money.
