Hopping off of route 50 before the bay bridge for a cup of coffee was well worth it… The baked goods are from a bakery in Brooklyn and the coffee is roasted there at the coffee shop.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I had to this time. DONOTEATATMADEGGS!!! Me and my friend ate here and got really sick. I should have bowed out when I walked up to the truck and noticed they had a large container filled with cooked eggs and sausage sitting in the window on a hot day. Like what are you thinking guys??? Trying to give your customers salmonella? My mistake for taking a bite of the potatoes my friend got, which was from the bangers and mash. This was probably also sitting in the sun festering with bacteria. I’m so glad I didn’t eat more of it. Both me and my friend are really ill now, so thanks! If there was a way to give negative stars I would. Also, this is a review directed at MADEGGS. I’ve had rise up coffee and it’s fine.

Great coffee shop to either stop in and hang out or grab a drink/snack to go. Every time I come through or to Easton I make a point to stop in and get beans and a drink. The cold brew coffee is one of my favorite choices and today I ordered the acai bowl which is amazzzing! The only complaint I have is that I wish they had more beans that were bold, majority of the blends are light or medium.

We were headed to a race and there aren’t a lot of choices in the area for local coffee roasters… thankfully this place saved us from having to sell our souls and compromise all we believe in, and kept us out of Starbucks or DD. We both had iced drinks since it was in the 90s and they were both good. My hubby had a mocha, maybe a little strong on the flavor but overall good. I had a plain iced latte and it was excellent. The store was clean, had some pastries although we didn’t try any. Nice selection of merchandise if that interests you. Also picked up some Baltimore and French roasts for the chemex at home, both excellent! Don’t miss this gem if you’re in the area.

Cute excellent place! I got the caramel latte. I was trying to find that local Starbucks that generally is in all towns when this came up on the radar. I was pleasantly surprised! Perfect blend and better than Starbucks. Perfect brew. The place is really rustic and eclectic. The coffee was excellent and I’m glad we found this place The muffin I bought was a mixed berry. Very fresh, moist and full of fruit. They have a similar repertoire to SB. Scones, muffins. They have a breakfast place in the back. Organic fare, Chia, etc. at Mad Eggs. This place reminded me of some of the places I’ve been to in Los Angeles. This place you can tell is a well thought out. Lovely! You can pour your own coffee too if you want just coffee. They have iced coffee Gucci or naked. They even sell bottled cold coffee to go. I will be back!

Rise Up is my go to coffee place in Easton. The coffee is excellent, staff is friendly, and they have an a good assortment of pastries to choose from. If you like a more substantial breakfast or lunch order from Mad Egg, their«banana splat» is a good, healthy option.

On our way home from Ocean City, I came here looking for a cute breakfast place. Glad we did! Even though the line looked a little long, it moved at a steady pace. I got the house specialty smoked salmon grilled cheese which was great. I wish it had more cream cheese on it, but otherwise the flavors were great. My mom also got the frozen caramel coffee smoothie which I thought tasted even better than Starbucks’ caramel frappucino. My dad got the seasonal coffee, which was good but a little too mild for his taste. He wishes he had tried the house coffee. The set up is a little weird since you order at the register, wait outside from a food cart for your order, then seat yourself. Very nice ambiance. Only regret is that we didn’t try their cinnamon buns.

Phenomenal coffee and the breakfast options are legit, photo worthy options if you can snap a pic before you scarf it down. Mad eggs chorizo and egg burrito… yum!

4 stars because the food and coffee was superb. The location is a little strange, but generates interest. It’s a small shop, and I don’t think they handle crowds too well. We were all shoulder to shoulder trying to get our coffee and get out. They have a cute sitting area in the back which I believe is actually where they show them roasting the coffee beans. Food service isn’t set up well. You order at the counter where you order your coffee… But then it’s made outside in this food truck looking shack. Takes a while to make… We waited about 15 min. Worth the wait because the salmon grilled cheese bagel was the bomb. Also, coffee and food is surprisingly pricier than one would expect. Tourists and non-locals beware… The patrons here are NOT friendly.

We just love coming here, the atmosphere is great and the staff is so friendly! Today we had breakfast sandwiches, the Salmon bagel sanwich. It was so delicious and we love the Berry Blast muffins and then there is the Amazing coffee!!! Best coffee on the Eastern Shore!

The coffee and food here are pretty tasty, once you get past the crowd of hipsters hanging around. The décor is exactly as one would expect from a non-chain coffee shop. The coffee itself is roasted perfectly, with good body and flavor. The«Mad Eggs» food is good, except you have to go outside to get it from a trailer once you order it, then go back inside to sit down and eat. 4 stars due to the«hip» crowd and the weird food pickup arrangements.

Very cool place! Excellent, friendly, efficient service with super tasty coffee. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area or passing through. I stayed here for a couple hours to do some work and it was a really conducive environment to getting work done. Lots of power outlets!

I was so excited to taste their coffee. The reviews were great And I loved the idea of Maryland organic coffee. I tried both available Roasts and they seriously tasted like water with a bit of coffee flavor. So then I tried an espresso — something that wouldn’t be so watery and it was bitter. I had really wanted to grab a bag or two of beans to take home with me and there was nothing that I ever wanted to drink again. I really wanted to give the place a better rating — it was clean, quirky and cute.

Awesome coffeehouse. The place was packed when we got there. I’m not big Into fancy drinks, I just like plain old coffee, I know pretty boring. As we were waiting, we say a serve yourself coffee. It’s on the honor system, drop your money, serve yourself and leave. Very, very nice idea. The coffee tasted fresh and was great. We need one of these shops in my neighborhood :)

What else is there to say? Great coffee, great people, great food, GREATPLACE! If I’m in town, and I’m not at my parent’s house, chances are you can find me here. A few bullet points: — They have Bay Country Donuts sometimes. They are .95, do yourself a flavor and get one. — There is usually a line. It is fun & cheerful & the employees never get rude. It’s worth it. — They have self-serve hot coffee. If you are in a hurry, you can serve yourself & leave cash. — There are always dogs. ‘Nuff said. I will tell everyone I know to go here. Which will make the lines longer. But I don’t care. Go here.

I was dying to go back and soon as I left. Get a $ 10 Rise Up growler of amazing, velvety cold brew(no milk or sugar needed!), and come back and they will refill it for $ 5! Phenomenal! The roasting happens in an open area partitioned off in the back of the shop. High top tables are set up and it’s a perfect spot to bring a laptop or a group meeting. Also, they sell Rise Up Klean Kanteens! Love! Rise Up seems to have some pop up drive-through kiosks around the area, including in St. Michaels but they unfortunately don’t have cold brew there. The hipsters will have to trek to Easton for that.

Good coffee. Delicious egg sandwich on an everything bagel. Sit in the back — lots to look at as you enjoy your coffee.
