Polished Spa

I had a fun Saturday night at the nail salon !! Service from joe & his staff is wonderful. They are very attentive and pay attention to your requests. The place is small but cozy reminds me of a fairy house.

I tried a few recommended salons in the area and was somewhat satisfied but either the cost, noise factor or communication with staff kept me looking. Luckily I found Polished Spa just across the street from my job and decided to walk in.
The shop is tucked behind a building on S 25^th Traveling south past Home Depot and Giant — make a Left on Freemansburg (Aldi’s is on opposing corner) and left into 2^nd parking lot. Follow the sign to the front door– it’s charming. The owner Joe is delightful; hospitable, warm and funny. Joe handled both of my visits and there are 2 other techs available. The shop was running a special that week (bonus!) but the regular prices are excellent. Plus I see specials listed on
. I want an «overindulging» pedi!
My second visit went as well as the first and I love my gel mani. I am trying to get my sisters together so we can have a girl’s night there. This shop is also open a bit later for added convenience and I’m just happy that I now have a place that’s fun, relaxing and affordable so I can get a little regular pampering!

My daughter and I have been going to Polished Spa since it opened, and have always had wonderful service. Joe and Veronica make us feel at home and always go above and beyond to make us feel special. Our nails always look fabulous, and they even gave me a one footed mani when I broke my foot! Today, I just needed to push the pause button in life and have a little «me» time. Polished Spa was the perfect place to go. My nails look great. Joe suggested a color I never would have picked, but I am in love with it. I feel refreshed and pretty. Thanks Joe!

Horrible. Would not come back. We had a bridal party and the maid of honor called to reserve it a while back. She mentioned that we were a bridal party and who was getting what. The owner said that he would have a special package for us with champagne and strawberries. We get there and not only is there no champagne or strawberries, but he claimed that his acrylic girl called out and then followed with a whole bunch of other excuses. There are only 2 chairs and despite us telling him we were a party of 6, and him telling us he would have extra people to do our nails at once, there were only 2 ppl there. Him and another girl, who was nice. We ended up staying despite all of this and doing pedicure only. He did a horrendous job. He didn’t cut the dead skin by my toes until I told him to AFTER I saw he already started painting them. Never go here. Lots of promises, lots of B.S. and nothing but a high bill to show for it. $ 24 bucks for this crap. Never again. I didn’t want to make a scene because of the bridal party, but needless to say, I’m never going back and neither is anyone in our party.

Got a manicure and eyebrow threading, both were great. Clean, friendly atmosphere, very reasonable prices. Just need to call ahead to make an appt.

While in town I stopped in and saw Joe for a quick classic pedicure. Polished is tucked away behind some other buildings off of 25^th street. It is a very tiny but super cute little spa, don’t expect large and busy. Joe, the owner is very personable and outgoing. He gave a great pedicure and foot massage. $ 24 well spent. They also over more luxurious pedicures and some even come with dessert!
