Philly Pretzel Factory

«Meh» about sums it up. Not terrible pretzels by any means, but nothing too special either.
I had never visited a Philly Pretzel Factory location before and stopped in while passing through the area and hankering for a soft pretzel. It was close to end of their business day when I visited but there were still many pretzels left for the taking. I ordered a single soft pretzel with spicy mustard for as an accompaniment. At $ 1.50 total, not a bad deal at all.
Unfortunately, the pretzel was decidedly average. Nothing really stood out to me apart from its lack of character. Average size, average amount of doughy chew, average saltiness, etc. The mustard was similarly uninspiring: surprisingly bland for a «spicy» mustard.
Staff was very friendly and courteous. However, I was dismayed to discover that they did not have a single place to sit in the entire store. I guess this is strictly a «to-​go» type of establishment, so I paid my due and left. To make matters worse, the shopping center in which the store is located didn’t offer any outdoor seating, so I had to eat the pretzel in my car. I hate eating food in my car, so this was a real disappointment.
Overall, I’m glad I finally checked this franchise out, but I will likely not be returning to any other locations in the future. Prices are quite reasonable, but as pretzels are one of my favorite snacks, I would gladly pay a bit more for quality elsewhere.

Absolutely in love with this place. I moved to Florida and the hardest part about moving a few years ago was leaving this place. Every time I come home to visit I MUST go here. I had a fever, and phenomena last time I was home, and I made sure to still send my dad to pick me up some pretzels and that awesome cinnamon dip. Love this place!!!

Every time I go there I am always so impressed by the stellar customer service. The owner is very visible and always offers a free pretzel if the wait is even just a few minutes. Today I got to witness him coaching two of his employees. He treated them with respect and applauded their work. Jobs in the food service industry can be thankless so it’s great to see a leader taking the time to teach and make his employees feel valued. Well done! Also, the pretzels are awesome!

Keeping in mind that this is a Philly Pretzel Factory, my experience with this site as a contributor to the surrounding community has been very positive. During my experiences working with the staff at this Philly Pretzel Factory for catering and other special events they have always worked with us to ensure that we get a great price and an even better product. Again, we are talking pretzel’s here, but my experiences have shown me that this location is concerned with being a quality community partner.

Friendly service and a great price. I know it’s a chain, but this place is a great stop for soft pretzels… and who doesn’t love hot, fresh soft pretzels? If you’re lucky, they may even through a few more in your bag.
It’s like you’re on a big city street or in a ball park! So good… enjoy with mustard, cheese, or simply plain. Either way, this place is a «rock star» pretzel joint!
