Easily the best Italian restaurant(read: not a pizza joint) in Easton or Cambridge. I’ve had Scossa and Out of the Fire, and I went to Portofino only two nights before visiting Osteria for the first time. A subsequent visit to Luna Blu in Annapolis confirms that Alfredo could hold his own in DTA. The prices, service, and food quality are all better than at the aforementioned restaurants. We arrived near the end of the dinner hours on Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy but there was no wait. We were promptly seated. Service was quick to attend to us. We decided to buy a bottle of wine, but I am typically a beer drinker, and she is not much of a drinker at all. The server took us to their bar and aided us in selecting a bottle that would fit our tastes. Upon uncorking, it was clear the choice had been a good one. Before appetizers, fresh bread was served, still hot from coming out of the oven. Our appetizers, fried mozzarella that had been hand-breaded, and bruschetta, were excellent. Once our entrees arrived we were already nearly full. My dinner was the lasagna, a house favorite, and with good reason. She had a pasta dish as well, though I don’t recall what it was. Little was left at the end of the meal. I cannot wait to try other choices that were equally appealing off the large menu. For dessert, we chose to each get an item and share. She got crème brûlée, creamier than some, yet more satisfying as a result. I ordered the profiteroles, my first time having ordered them instead of cannoli, cheesecake, or tiramisu when dining Italian, and I was in heaven with them– absolutely exquisite. My coffee was excellent as well. We were the last to leave the restaurant, yet were never once rushed. The owner and chef visited with us to discuss the wine we had chosen, providing some fun facts about it. Our server and the rest of the staff was very attentive, yet not pushy at any time. All this, and the bill without tip was only around $ 70! The same meal at Portofino would have approached $ 110, a similar meal(in size, not quality) at Luna Blu was over $ 125, and a dare not conjecture what the bill would have been at Scossa or Out of the Fire. I joked with her while we were at the table that most couples have«their restaurant,» and that perhaps this should be «our restaurant.» By the end of the meal, the joke had perhaps become a reality. For the cost and effort at presentation at the other Italian places in Easton, perhaps they all should take a note from Alfredo and simply concentrate on making good, satisfying Italian food.

Best Italian in Easton. I’m not sure what some of the other reviewers were thinking. This place rocks. We’ve been in ten times since moving here from a big city. The staff is excellent. The food is fresh and very well prepared. I’ve eaten worldwide and this place is a hidden jem. Don’t let the location fool you. Don’t be suprised if they are out of some of the menu items. You’ll be pleasantly suprised by dining here. Enjoy!

Restaurant décor is cute and quaint t once you get passed the construction outside. The service was on their A game the night we came. We were in and out in 38 min.(Not sure if that is a good thing or not) A little fast for my liking. The food was alright, not the worst, not the best that I have had.

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a good sized menu. There are always a bunch of specials as well. We had the monk fish in a light tomato sauce and spaghetti with marina sauce. Both were excellent. The salads were very fresh. The drinks were well made and there are a number of wine options. The service was wonderful. The chef/owner came and checked on everyone. I think its a great place to eat.

Food quality varies. Two years ago it was very good; over the past year or longer the quality has been very disappointing. The owner is friendly and engages his customers but the food quality has not been up to par for quite some time as well as the slow service.

Lovely place we stopped at on our way to Baltimore. Friendly service and seems like a locals place. Started with warm crusty bread and butter. Ordered bruschetta which was a miss but rest of meal was delicious. Bruschetta with too much raw garlic and overpowering olive oil. I had flounder with spinach which was fresh, light and yummy. Rest of my kids had pasta which was overall thumbs up(penne alla vodka, spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with meatballs). Tiramisu made in house but we got the lemon torte which was excellent. A wonderful find in a small town.

I have been a regular at Osteria Alfredo’s for about 4 years and have never been disapointed. I will say that sometimes the service is a little slow but the food makes the wait worth while. The owner/chef is always in the kitchen and does a great job presenting a good variety of Italian dishes.

I have been to Alfredo’s twice now. The first time, the food and the service were excellent. The second time, however, the service was poor and the food was not as good as it was previously. Some«highlights» of this latest experience: –We made a reservation but had to wait for a booth(as requested on the phone when making the reservation) to be cleaned. People without a reservation came in after us and were seated first. –We had to wait about 10 – 15 minutes for a wine list, losing our place to get our food order in before everyone else seated at the same time did. –Our waitress said they were understaffed and commented on how it was good for her since she’d make more money(never apologizing for slower service). –Once our food came, the temperatures were varied among dishes – some were lukewarm or cold by the time they came out. –We had to wait a good 15 – 20 minutes after we were finished eating for someone to come back to get us the check. So not only did they lose several opportunities to make more money from our table(get us another bottle of wine, keep us in for dessert), but they lost customers to other good restaurants in the Easton area. I could have easily forgiven slower service had someone apologized for it, but the experience went downhill after each mistake unfortunately. Portofinio and Scossa in downtown Easton, in my experience, have had consistently better food, service, and ambience. I probably won’t go back for awhile, but I hope they can make some changes as they do have potential. I wish everyone could have the same experience I had the first time with fewer people in the restaurant and a more personalized experience.

The food and ambiance in this tiny, quaint little Italian restaurant(tucked away in a very unlikely location!) is absolutely to die fore… but the service definitely left a little bit to be desired. As a server in a fine dining establishment, I was appalled when the server repeated the wine list by saying«we have… um… a red… and … um…» and when I asked if they had Chianti, she asked if it was red or white! Still, the food was great and the atmosphere is simply perfect for a nice conversation. With someone a little more skilled in service, this place would be absolutely perfect!

Went out here with a friend, and was a bit unsure how the outcome was going to be, just because the previous restaurants that have been in that location were usually just… eh. But I was wrong, everything was delicious. I had spaghetti with mozzarella which was delicious! The plating could’ve been a bit more interesting, seemed like they just plopped everything on there, and the prices weren’t super high. Definitely a nice place to go for a fun night out.

Osteria Alfredo is a fantastic restaurant, which is VERY hard to find in Easton. I came across to this town through work and boy is it hard to find a good restaurant. I tried this place through a business client. I ordered the lasagna and it was EXCELLENT. After 6 months, I tried Osteria Alfredo again and I was not disappointed(I actually went 3 times in a week for lunch at one point! But then, there are not that many pleasing restaurants in the area…) The bread here is pretty good too, but I’m not sure if they craft their own or get it already baked, but it’s good nonetheless. The service is ALRIGHT — bearable. The prices are very reasonal and as mentioned, the food is good. I will definitely be back and I hope this review helps out other people who are looking to dine in around Easton.
