Had the Swiss and mushroom burger, tasteless and poor quality overall Onion ings are greasy and tasteless as well. Disappointed for certain. We stopped in based on previous reviews.

Stopped in for a quick bite coming across the pass and am I glad I did. The food was amazing. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Zeke’s on Stevens Pass but if you are you know it has the best burgers in the Stevens pass area. This place is the Zeke’s of Snoqualmie pass. Glen and Chris(I think they’re the owners) were super friendly and answered all my questions(I had a lot because I like to know all my options before I get to grubbing). I went with the Mt Rainier Burger(double meat, double cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion, mayo and relish and for good measure I had them add an over easy egg. If you haven’t tried an egg on your burger, you should and if you have you already know the benefits). I went with french fries but they have onion rings, breaded mushrooms and breaded zucchini as well and washed it down with a huckleberry shake. The fries were hot, fresh and crisp and the shake was delicious. Usually I prefer a hand dipped shake but they used soft serve and it was still on point. They have a huge variety of shakes from hazelnut to watermelon to peppermint to huckleberry just to name a few of the 20 – 30 flavors they have. You can tell they care about the burger taste and presentation. The lettuce and veggies are fresh chopped and even with all the extras on this burger I was still able to eat it without it becoming a sloppy mess on my plate. The patties are not huge so if you are a bigger dude like myself I would recommend going with the double meat. The burger, fries and shake were just enough for me to be full to the brim without the risk of going into a food coma driving down the side of the mountain afterwards. This place is exactly what you expect and deserve out of a hole in the wall(or mountain in this case). If you like burgers then you will love this place. Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself!

LOVELOVELOVE! This is the first place I ever ate at in America in April 2008. My mum and I stopped there it was amazing. Been many times after that. We only live a few minutes away in Cle Elum. Great place to stop at after riding our horses at Silver Ridge. Totally recommend!(:

Freshly made burgers! Where the burger is hot and the toppings are chill. My favorite is the Olympic burger. Square pay available here

Good place to stop to grab a non greasy and truly tasty burger. Prices are fair and food was ample. Worth it if you need to grab a little treat on your way to Leavenworth!

Fast, friendly, cheap. And while the fries were good, you don’t have to get them if you don’t want them. It’s getting so difficult to find local food any more. Just about every town has national chains, with food so dumbed-down it is almost inedible. Or is inedible, as in the case of Mickey D’s.

Had some mountain high expectations coming in… overall the burger I had was good(buns are awesome) but they didn’t put tomatoes like it said in the menu. Friend ordered same burger and got tomato. I was excited when I saw all the shake flavor options but that excitement came to an end when I tried my peach shake and it tasted like regular vanilla. Friend ordered huckleberry and it also tasted like regular vanilla. Maybe next time this place will deserve more stars but this time I left disappointed

We were stuck in traffic yesterday coming across the pass so we pulled off to find a bite to eat. We were so happy to run into this place! We ended up ordering two Mt. Adams burgers and a side of onion rings. The burgers came out fast, hot, and delicious. The onion rings were fried to perfection and not too greasy. Super yummy and just what we needed after sitting in traffic for what felt like hours. Did I mention our lunch was under $ 15? Amazing!

My boyfriend and I wanted. Snack on something. So Unilocal lead us to Mountain High Hamburgers. The milk shakes are by far the best milkshakes I had for a while. The burgers are very flavorful and the best! Very filling. The reason I gave it a four star is because the sitting area is too small. And there are too much flies flying around. Overall really good food! And my boyfriend and I would plan to come here again.

Driving over the pass and craving a thin, In-N-Out style burger? Then this is the place for you. We always look for new, great burger places and typically they’re in the middle of nowhere. This fits that exact description. Located directly off the freeway, about 20 minutes past Snoqualmie Pass heading East. The prices are very fair, and the milkshakes are delicious as well. We got a bacon cheeseburger(Mt Adams), a volcano jalapeño burger, and fries for only $ 12. That’s cheaper than disgusting fast food restaurants. Everything is made to order. We come here often, a must go-to stop.

My dad hadn’t been here in a long time so we decided to stop by, we followed the directions and it led us to a lounge! Just saying that the directions are wrong, you want to keep going down the road without stopping at the RV park and you will see a big sign saying«Mountain High Burgers». When we got there it was closed, but I’m giving it 4 stars anyway because my dad had been there before and says they are delicious! Hope this was helpful! :)

Just right. If you pine for that magical melding of caramelized toasty bun, freshly grilled meat, melty cheese, and raw onion then you will love these burgers as I do. I had them add jalapeños to mine and they were also perfectly grilled. If you are In-N-Out-bereaved like I am, get a double for Double-Double nostalgia. The fries are just like the ones I had on the street in Belgium. Frites. Super good. Try them with mayo. Finally, you gotta have a shake, right? Wait, no… a malt. Yes, they have malted shakes.

I was so excited for lunch here because I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place, but management must have changed since then. The place was absolutely filthy, I don’t think the floor had been mopped for months or tables wiped down all day. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that the entire staff was 18-year-old-looking boys? You can no longer use their restroom inside because of «extreme misuse.» They placed a port-a-potty outside which was absolutely full to the brim, ants crawling around inside it, no toilet paper and even a cigarette butt in there. There was no way I was using that. Now, to the food: my mom and I had the fish sandwich, fries and shakes. My dad got a cheeseburger and said it was better than average. There’s 1 star. Shakes were delicious, there’s another star. The fries were undercooked, and the fish burger was mediocre at best. I was shocked to see that it was $ 40 for the 3 of us. Bottom line: Next time I’m in the area I will be eating elsewhere.

Good hamburgers. Note — I am not giving it four stars because they served Russian caviar, soft shelled crabs imported from an unknown island uncontaminated by human contact or tofurkey, bean sprout, aioli burgers. I’m giving it four stars for accomplishing what they set out to be — a small little hamburger joint. Hamburgers were good — made to order right on the spot. Reasonable selection, no weird inventions, just good hamburgers and a few chicken whatsit sandwiches. GREAT fries. Fried on the outside, soft on the inside, perfect cut, awesome everything. Pepsi products — the setting must have been off on the machine because my diet Pepsi was lousy. I thought of dinging them for that and the Hunts instead of Heinz catsup, but those fries secured the four stars. Fantastic selection of milkshakes. They aren’t hand dipped, they use the soft serve machine, but they’re made fresh on the spot with a wide variety of choices. Easy access off the highway. Small but clean interior — there are a few chairs. Outside seating if it’s nice. Convenient drive through. Best choice in the area if you’re driving over the pass.

You don’t know what a good burger or a good shake is until you’ve had them from Mountain High. Awesome burgers that are made to order and couldn’t be any more perfect. They’ve named their burgers after mountains in Washington(i.e., Mt. Adams burger, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainer, etc.); kind of adds to the atmosphere in the restaurant. The shakes? Ohhh my. They have a ton of flavors to choose from that you can mix and match with each other and always use real fruit. I usually go with my blueberry-strawberry-raspberry shake, a Mt. Adams burger and fries with their fry sauce. TRIPLEYUM. Sooo, if you’re ever driving over Snoqualmie Pass and you get a little rumble in your tummy, you know where to go!

It’s down the street from the Shell gas station. Love the food. Perfect summer eating with benches outside. I recommend the deep fried zucchini chips, raspberry iced tea, and the Mt. Adams burger complete with bacon and cheese. Yummy!!! So good especially after a swim at the cold lake nearby.

De-flipping-liciousness. Came in a little after 1PM. Place looks like it is inside a former house, which gives it a quirky feel. You can do drive through or eat inside(seating is limited). They also have some picnic tables outside if the weather is nice enough. Patties are a bit thin, so you may want to get one of the burgers with two patties, but a single patty was fine with me. French fries were hot, nicely seasoned, and perfectly sized. And my chocolate shake was so good! Overall, so so good. My only complaint is how completely full I felt a half hour later when I continued on my drive. It was so good I ate(way way) more than I should have! Also, they have chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, fish, and veggie burgers. So don’t feel like you have to be a red-meater to enjoy the establishment.
