Love the food and the weekly specials are amazing. Great atmosphere, just wish it was a little bigger inside, hate the seating in front of the door, but worth the wait for a booth!

In a matter of 6 visits, Maguire’s became our«go-to» restaurant. However, in one fell swoop, it fell from Grace. We always enjoyed their burgers, fish and chips, and onion strings, but on our last visit we decided to broaden our horizons and try something new. HUGEMISTAKE! Mom was wholly disappointed with her meal, and noted that the mashed potatoes the waitress bragged about were entirely bland and had all the charm of Spackle. My chicken quesadillas were overcooked and, also, bland. the first one inch all around were brown and turned to dust at the touch. I broke off all the burnt portions, which amounted to about one third of each wedge, and ate one. i left the remainder; finished my ginger ale; and pushed the plate aside while i waited for mom to finish. the waitress removed our food from the table — never asking if we wanted to take any of the uneaten portions home. She returned with the bill; i paid it, and as we were leaving she said, vacuously, «Come Again.» we told her that that was unlikely due to the quesadillas being the worst i have had anywhere — burnt, dull, flavorless, strewn with raw red and green peppers — and mom said her meal was below average. Mom added that she did not understand how the food could be so badly with only four other tables being occupied. they were not busy at all, so mom thought the food should have been on point. The waitress was unsympathetic and dismissed us. She turned, muttered something, and off she went. Somehow, i expected more of this place. I would have never let a customer out the door feeling as i felt. We actually felt swindled. We grabbed sandwiches at burger king because we were hungry. We will pass on this place from this point forward it’s sad because we really liked this place. We always meet this really nice gentleman enjoying a beer on the front patio area. He was present each visit and he is genuinely pleasant and has a great sense of humor. On a happy note, the onion strings were the only positive experience — that is why the 2 star ranking. between our complete and entire dissatisfaction with the food and the waitress’ handling of the situation, i do not see us returning. There are plenty of restaurants in the area operated by owners and waitstaff that are more sensitive to one’s dining experience than we experienced at maguire’s.

My husband and I have been here quite a few times. Sometimes it’s packed. Sometimes it’s not. If we can’t find a parking spot we don’t stop in of course. It is a little divey, I wouldn’t call it a hole in the wall but my husband loves this type of atmosphere. The food is good; the honey hot tenders are so yummy. I don’t think I’ve found anything else here I love as much. But definitely try them. Never had any issues with the service. Not much else to say. I love food. I love good food. And sometimes I come here to get it.

All the food here is really good and there is a really wide variety on the menu! We come all the time with a varied group of friends and customers and are never disappointed.

3.5 stars, average to above average bar food but served with great hospitality and service. Onion strings were lightly battered and promptly served, tasted okay. Half lb lobster roll was what you would expect, a lot of lobster, but lacked something to add more flavor to it. The Cajun fish tacos were probably our favorite here.

Sadly the last few times I have gone the food has gone down hill! My friend had the chicken and it was thin, dry, and only the size of her palm. There was more skin than chicken! He Mac and cheese is nothing special and is just Kraft. My steak was alright, but the potatoes were gritty and the vegetables were a very small portion. The stuffing my other friend got with her meal tasted like box stuffing and the cranberry sauce was the super sugary canned kind. I’m seriously wondering if they even make anything from scratch anymore. I hate to say it… But DONT come here!!!

New favorite place to grab dinner in Easton! Well worth the wait(or if you’re really lucky there won’t be a wait). Love the honey hot tenders and the maguires Cheeseburger. Their fries are my favorite! Taylor is such a nice waitress.

Hard to beat for what it is — a suburban pub with an extensive menu. Good hot homemade rolls are brought to your table. Large portions. Great authentic atmosphere. It’s always busy so don’t think you’ll waltz in. Not too celiac friendly but they do have some choices and we’ve never had a problem. Recommended.

Love, love and love this place! Be prepared to probably wait for a seat, but it is well worth the wait! My father who hates to wait at any restaurant in his getting older age actually waited for a table here because I promised it would be worth it and he said it was great and definitely worth his wait!!! I personally love the cajun fish tacos. I’ve been with people who have gotten salads to other fish dishes and everyone has been super happy. I highly recommend this restaurant and it is a top 5 favorite for me.

Whenever we want to have a good meal out, Maguire’s is our go-to place. We have never been disappointed regardless of what we order. Drinks, meals, and desserts all exceed expectations. Wish there were more places that I felt so confident going to in the area.

Meh, I was expecting better. So date night and figured a hole in the wall would do. Food: Bbq tip salad. Asked for tips medium rare. They we rare at best and bordering on a seared tartare. I’m the consumer and feel it should come out right the first time. The way the dish is setup you cannot cut tips without putting copious amounts of salad on the table. Maybe smaller cut tips would solve it. Service was mediocre. Place was packed but think they make their bones on big portions. Meh

We live in the neighborhood, and this is the ultimate neighborhood place. They don’t all know my name, but I frequently run into people I know. The food is a good step and a half above pub food, though you can order strictly pub fare if that’s what you want. The lobster caprese salad is a great example. It is fresh, simple and beautifully presented. My daughter loves the honey hots and would order them every night of the week if possible. They also have great weekly specials as well as menu standbys. It’s always hopping inside. There’s lots of love and loyalty from happy satisfied customers.

Steak tips are always great and the Clam Chowder Bread Bowl is a great starter. They have a unique Caprese Salad that is smothered with Lobster meat. My favorite. I also like the Mediterranean Tapas Salad with Grilled Chicken. The Fish and Chips on Friday is always super fresh. As another reviewer said this is truly Easton’s Cheers. It’s always packed with locals which shows how we never get tired of it. Always consistent and the only downside is the wait can be long but you can enjoy a beverage inside or out while you wait.

Went here on Friday with my boyfriend. I am new to the area and found it on Unilocal. The food was awesome! The crowd was load but that was ok with us. The drinks were wonderful I got the raspberry lime Ricky! But I didn’t know the price until we got the bill… $ 8.50 for about a 8oz drink. Yikes… No more cocktails there for me. But the food was A++++… Just pricey for mixed drinks!

My wife and I were there tonight, a Friday night, other customers were also waiting patiently for a table. A couple comes in and meets other folks near the bar. After an extended conversation with the hostess those people are seated while the rest of us are still waiting. I approached the hostess and asked why were those people seated before the rest of the waiting customers. She said it was because they met the other people there? I didn’t get it and neither did the rest of the waiting clientele. We left as if this is the way you treat customers we didn’t want any part of it.

We were in the area, visiting Bridgewater State University, and a friend recommended we stop here to have lunch. We love Pubs and their food but this was no ordinary pub. The lighting was dim, creating a very cozy feel. You could tell this was a favorite spot for the locals because the waitresses knew most of the customers by first name. I really appreciated that. Our waitress was as sweet as can be and the service was fast despite the fact that it was crowded. The food selections were very unique and I ended up settling on the Mediterranean Platter Salad. Coupled with the Maguire’s seasonal ale, it was an extremely enjoyable meal. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

If you check my review history, you can see that I’m not necessarily the most stingy with the 5-star reviews. OR, you could interpret that as a reviewer who rarely frequents bad establishments! Either way, the 5-star review is beyond warranted in this case. Don’t be put off by Maguire’s pub décor, or strange location. Once you’ve had your first bite, you’ll agree. And that first bite will be warm, delicious bread. So that’s saying something! I’ve been to Maguire’s three times, and every year for Christmas I ask my grandmother for a gift card so I can go again and again(she’s a regular there, so it’s never difficult to sway her with the possibility of running into her granddaughter at one of her favorite haunts on a future Friday evening). My first trip bestowed upon me the best steak tips I’ve ever eaten, atop a fantastic Caesar salad — a simple venture, for sure, but done right? Spectacular. My second and third trips I tried seasonal specials — butternut squash bisque, scallops, cajun fish tacos. All amazing, all giant portions. After one bowl of french onion soup and a bread roll, I could barely get through one taco. But they made for great leftovers the next day at lunch! I will say that the addition of tartar sauce to a typically Mexican dish was a little strange… but I won’t dock points for it. An honest mistake! All in all, an almost gourmet experience at pub prices, in a cozy setting. And a chance to run into my grandmother! What could be better?

I grew up here in Easton and now that I don’t live here anymore I still hit Maguire’s whenever I’m in the area to get my fix! I have a bad habit of ordering the same things over and over again because they’re so good — honey hots or the chicken fingers because I’m obsessed with their honey mustard sauce. When I do actually vary my order, I love the shephard’s pie or any of their sandwiches. I know what times to go to manage to avoid the wait(right before 5 pm usually works) otherwise plan on a wait, it’s a popular local place since nearly all the other options are chains. Wait staff has always been friendly here. It’s a small townie Irish pub type restaurant, but I love it because it’s my small townie Irish pub type restaurant.
