Wonderful service, our waiter Austin was so attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and kids loved the ice cream!

Honestly haven’t been here in years due to awful service and terribly overpriced milkshakes/ice cream items so this may not be totally accurate portrayal for 2013, but I often wish that Friendly’s just stayed burnt down.

Have to agree with the other reviews here. Every time I’ve been in the place, it just smells weird, like something went bad. I mean, every time, you would think they would want to do something about the smell, but apparently not. Really not good, I don’t go there anymore.

The Managers are nice, so is the staff, except on Friday nights when their HS friends show up and it’s like«oh my gosh, did you see what he did in history class today? I totally thought she would break up with him but whatever.» Takeout wise since the remodel after the place burned down hasn’t been bad. You are in for a treat(not in a good way) when ordering. Sometimes you get large scoops, sometimes small scoops. Sometimes you get it in soup bowls. The smell from the front of the store is probably the sewer line coming into the bathrooms that is located by the front door. Ever since they opened the renovated layout the smell has been there so bad job by Joe the Plumber on the installation of the cleanouts. *this place cannot be found on the Unilocal mobile app. go figure.

I’ve been a huge fan of Friendly’s since the late 70’s when I got my first job scooping ice cream in our local store. Recently my husband and I went to our local Friendly’s on William Penn Hwy in Palmer and boy were we in for a shock! The place smelled sour as soon as we entered and thy service was not very friendly! When we sat down our table was so dirty(grimy) that we lost our appetite and decided to leave. I wrote a letter to the corporate office letting them know about our experience and I received a standard letter of apology in response along with a $ 5 gift card. I’m wondering how long I need to give them to clean this place up before I try going back to see if it is any better?!
