Horrible… over rated by at least two stars. First time I went food was good. Second time food was horrible. I sent food back. Yes they took it off my bill but who cares you ruined my day. Third time I severely regret going because my girl wanted wings. Wings are baked which why would I want wings I could have ordered chicken and had same result. We ordered nachos it was a big pile of slop I left it on the table just as it was delivered. What an embarrassment for this place. Manager and owners must be absent. Because there is no way in bleep bleep bleep would I allow that crap to go out. Sorry two horrible times was enough. Plus I am tired of the ever rated restaurants with this app. No food was just not good brother. Why would I go back. Fix your staffing problem

Typical dinner food selection with some specialties done right in a restaurant setting. Great desert selection to satisfy most sweet tooth cravings. Tip. Nice selection of craft beer. Ask for the list. Tip. Do not serve breakfast all day.

The food, service and atmosphere at this diner was definitely as good as it gets! After running a race this past weekend in Bangor, PA, my boyfriend and I were on our way to Bethlehem and in need of a solid breakfast. I found this place on the map and we decided to check it out. Once we got there, a large group of people were congregated outside, so I was worried that the wait would be long. Lucky, we got inside and were able to secure 2 spots at the bar. I loved how the interior was decorated for Halloween and fall in general. Being that it was Halloween day, I appreciated the festive feel. The man working behind the bar came over to us right as we sat down, introduced himself, and asked our names(and of course I forget his already!). The food specials were all enticing, but being that it was Halloween, my boyfriend had to go with the pumpkin pancake platter(it came with 3 pumpkin pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hash browns — all for $ 8!). I went with the brie cheese and mushroom omelet with a side of hollandaise sauce. The food was delicious and definitely hit the spot. The service was friendly and fast, the food was phenomenal(especially for a diner), and the building itself had a cool old-school vibe that I appreciated. Will be back whenever I find myself in the area!

I had lunch this afternoon with my family and LOVED it. This is a prime example of how a restaurant should operate. From the moment we walked in until we left the service was nothing short of outstanding. It was a really busy afternoon today and our food came out hot and ready. They are extremely well staffed and the employees do not look miserable. We will back many times!

We’ve been to Diner 248 at least once a week since a friend recommended it last year. Yes, it is usually crowded, but there is a good reason for it… excellent food, generous portions, and a friendly wait staff. My coffee cup always gets refilled and I’ve made many substitutions without any problems. If you don’t like waiting, get there before 7am, or after 9pm. Dinner for two(including appetizers and drinks), leftovers for the next day, and a large piece of cake all for about $ 40. You can’t beat that. I just love their tilapia and shrimp — not deep fried. The ribs are delicious too, fall of the bone tender. No matter what you get… take a piece of homemade chocolate grace cake home. You won’t regret it. A chocolate lovers dream come true.

Used to be a favorite. Went for lunch today. Food not nearly up to what we’d expect, however the bigger issues was flies. Everywhere. Flying around the tables. Crawling on light fixtures. Landing on is. Told 2 people. No one offered to get a manager etc. Clearly have a sanitation/cleanliness problem. Sad to say we won’t be going back.

Only 3 stars cause they can’t do coffee. Nice location — good ambiance more restaurant than diner and not noisy — nice waitstaff. Been here 5 times and food is very good and tastes fresh — today we had the Texan burger which was super tasty with thick bacon and the chipotle avocado chicken on ciabatta also very good. The roll had the cheese melted on it –nice touch. Then brownie sundae — it is too big and the brownie was chewy and chocolatey-yum. Weak point– can’t get well done fries — I ask and they never get it right but it’s not a dealbreaker. Downside which is why I can’t and won’t do breakfast here — the coffee. I don’t know what it is but every time I get a burnt tasting cup of not very strong coffee. I have to put 5 – 6 creamers in to lighten it and I normally use 1 – 2. It has that old burnt color. Yet it doesn’t taste strong — weird. I have asked for a freshly brewed pot and there’s no difference. Love to bring in my own coffee and have breakfast here. If you skip the coffee and can care less about fries you will probably give this place 4 – 5 stars!

Went for a family brunch the first time at this diner. There was a line outside at 10:30ish when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised that the wait time was only 20 mins, ended up seated in about 15 mins. The menu choices were as expected in a diner. The location lost one star because of lack of substitution. Even fairly simple choices like getting non pork substitute for those who don’t consume pork. Despite that above negative, our brunch came out on a timely manner. Smaller platters than a typical diner but looked and tasted way better than we anticipated. All the five in our party likes our selection. I had a Mediterranean omelette that I will gladly go back for the same. This comes from someone whose not a fan of omelettes. I will definitely recommend the place.

Really good. A Classic case of pies and cakes right when one walks in, Old School Diner Style. A good selection of beers draft and bottles, not usually encountered at Diners. Excellent service. Buff wrap was surprisingly good and hot; I am usually disappointed by Buff at Meatloaf Diners. Sandwiches come with fries AND coleslaw, not one or the other. Yay ! I’m a Fan !

Great breakfast. This is nice diner, modern and clean. The staff is pleasant, but needs a little polish(had to ask the waiter for refill on my coffee — a personal pet peeve). The food is great. I had the breakfast special — the carnitas benedict. Excellent. I look forward to coming back for breakfast. They have an interesting selection.

We drive by this diner every time me we head out to Wegmans. The lot is always packed regardless of the day. Today we finally decided to stop for breakfast to see what the rave is about. The husband ordered the Carnita omelette which consisted of pulled pork with avocado slices & pico de gallo. He loved it so much, he literally finished every morsels on his plate. I had the Emperor omelette which was spinach, mushroom & Brie cheese. The omelette was perfect. We both enjoyed our breakfast and plan to return to try the lunch.

I had some great meals when they first opened. I’ve noticed cutting back of portions and prices going up. The breakfast specialty pancakes and waffles are great just pricy. For dinner I get the Texas chicken(think that’s what it was called) chicken, BBQ, bacon. I got it the first time few times I went and loved it. There was a period of 6 months that I didn’t go and when I went back the service was ok but I was really disappointed in the meal. I think there are other diners in the area that give you more for less!

Excellent food and excellent diner. This is a gem in the Lehigh valley. Got the lumberjack which was HUGE and delicious. Pancake, waffle, egg, sausage, bacon, ham, hashbrowns.. Everything was perfect! Hashbrowns crispy, pancake n waffle warm n soft, eggs fresh. I really enjoyed the food very much. Establishment is clean, bathroom is also very clean and pleasant smelling. They have a bar that’s looks bright and modern. Waitress was happy and friendly. I’d be happy to come again if in town.

Went this diner two days in a row since I was staying in the hotel across the street. Nothing great and nothing terrible about it(besides their bloody Marys. Seriously, they are terrible don’t order them) Typical average diner.

This was a spur of the moment stop since I love diners. It was a nice place with a large menu of burgers, sandwiches and entrees. We ended up getting three apps to share for two of us and it was great! Pierogis and sliders were especially good. Dessert was also delicious.

I know eggs Benedict is better with tradition however the southwest eggs Benedict with chipotle hollandaise is awesome here. Even my 90 yr old nana who looks for the bad in many things could not shoot this down.
