My friend and I both received pedicures from 2 different manicurists, followed by a haircut for my friend (executed by her manicurist). I was not given a base coat on one foot, or a top coat on either foot. I was not invited to choose my nail color until after my feet were submerged in the tub, and could hardly see the selection (which was extremely limited – mainly reds) at a distance, from across the salon. The shaping and filing were a joke (or rather, non-​existent for me). Neither used foam toe separators (my friend had cotton stuffed between her toes, and the fibers kept getting stuck in her wet nail polish– I was given nothing). When my pedicure was finished, my manicurist rapidly fanned her hands over my feet approximately 20 times, because she didn’t feel like retrieving the drying fan on the lower level. The leg «massages» we received lasted under a minute.
My friend, who had grown her hair for almost 2 years for «Locks of Love», specifically instructed the stylist before cutting that she wanted her hair length to «brush her shoulders» (and I reiterated my friend’s desire to the stylist, as well). When all was set and done, her hair was cut to her jaw (and unevenly, I might add)!
–Not once did an instructor stop by while we received our pedicures (and only at the very end of my friend’s haircut – by then, it was too late)
–The entire process took 3 hours
–Our pedicures were conducted separately despite the appointments being scheduled at the same time with the intention of having the services rendered simultaneously
–The salon did not appear clean (stained & dirty floors, etc.)
–The pricing (pedicure – $ 18, haircut – $ 10) was practically commensurate with salon prices
Obviously, we will never return. SHAMEFUL!
