I was a guest at Leewood golf club. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. It is a charming club. The whole facility (dinning, lockers, pool) is clustered around one building. Its a friendly family neighborhood golf club. Leewood has no initiation fee. So take advantage of what Leewood has to offer. Its a great value golf club.

If you get the chance, jump at the opportunity to play this little, almost 100 year old gem of a course in Eastchester, NY. A club, that members will be glad to remind you, was once the home course of Babe Ruth.
The conditioning of the course and grounds is top notch, and the reworking that they gave the course a few years back has made the layout a bit more contemporary, without losing the flavor of the original. An added bonus is that this has to be one of the closest golf clubs to NYC.
The staff is great as well, would return (if invited), any time!
