I had a great customer service experience from a teenage kid. I couldn’t believe it. The young man (whose name I did not get) was knowledgeable, polite, efficient, and worked with enthusiasm. I wish I caught his name, because the service was so refreshing that I would have liked to have commended him to management. Great job, Food Emporium! (Yes, I know you are A&P, but just like Myanmar will always be Burma to Elaine’s boss, J. Peterman, this A&P will always be the Food Emporium to me.) The downside is they used to be 24 hours, now it closes at midnight.

Awful store. Deli workers are rude, prepared pasta salad is horrendous, which is sad considering how little culinary skill is necessary to make decent pasta, and pickles I bought were spoiled. Great that they are employing those with special needs, but awful in every other way.

It pains me to give this Food Emporium a poor review, but they really have gone downhill. It’s inconvenient for me to have to find a new store, but I will if they don’t raise the standard of cleanliness, labeling and product availability. It’s too difficult to stop there on my way home from work and not find basic staples, or to have to hunt down prices, or to be assaulted by sloppiness. Unfortunately for me and for Food Emporium, competition abounds and they just aren’t keeping up.

My local grocery market when i don’t feel like driving the extra 45 seconds to Trader Joe’s or the extra 10 minutes to Stew Leonards!
They’ve cleaned up a LOT in the past few years and its actually pretty nice. They’ve got everything i need.
Good produce section which is a big PLUS in my book ;-)
