A review can not fully comprehend how wonderful this place is, but I shall try. They have some of the best wine I have tasted and offer them at a great price. They also have cheese and other little meals to go with the wine. The tasting is also free which is a plus. They area around the house is very pretty. Sitting on a hill getting a beautiful view of the water and the other hills around it. The garden is very nice and you can see grape vines surrounding the area. I will absolutely be coming back here next time I am around.

Beautiful place to sit and have a glass of wine. The grounds are amazing, what a view! Owners are knowledgeable about great wines and are super nice! Good for either a small intimate group or a larger gathering.

Our third visit to this winery was every bit as great as the first two. Love the owners, the view and the wine! And was smart enough to buy a case of wine and take it home this time. Can’t wait to come back!

This and the Malaga Winery were our backup plan after the Chelan/Manson fires halted plan A. Next time there will be our plan A. We came in a large unannounced group, and they were able to bring our wine tasting to the outside tables. The views from the tables were gorgeous. Great view of all of the terrain and the Columbia River. The location is much easier to get to than the Malaga Winery, so come here second, but if you’re only going to one, come to this one. It was a tossup as to who had the better wines, they were both great. Wine tasting was free. They have some cheese plates you can order to enjoy with your wine tasting. The kitchen was closed when we got there but this is definitely something we will do again in the future.

This place was amazing! I came here with my family to wine taste. It has beautiful views of Wenatchee if you sit outside. The vi yard is amazing and they people who work there are super nice! They also offer cheese boards!

Love the scenery and free wine tasting here! The best winery I have visited so far. The owners are super nice. They offered free cherries to us. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting in the area.

This place is heaven on earth on a beautiful day. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the free wine tastings on a Saturday afternoon(they also do Fridays and Sundays). Since they weren’t too busy, they were able to serve us on the patio so we could enjoy the incredible view. The couple is very friendly and hospitable — we enjoyed getting to know them a bit. I purchased two bottles of wine and can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful people & award winning wine. After 2 hours of ‘tasting’ we left with enough wine to last us a whole year. Thank you Mike & Judi for a truly remarkable experience. I look forward to stopping by in the summer for one of their private dinners.

WOW!!! This winery completely amazed both my husband and I. We decided to drive through Wenatchee on a whim, and we are so happy that we did. It is a must go to place. It was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 1st Anniversary. We started off with a free wine tasting(which is so rare to have a free tasting) of about 7 of the wines. The Viognier blew our socks off it was that good. I also inquired about their Sauvignon blanc, and the owner opened up a bottle just so we could try it. The Pinot Grigio was also very delicious on a hot day like it was today. After spending a couple of hours there sipping a few glasses of wine on their breathtaking grounds we purchased 5 bottles of their wines so we could enjoy their wines at home, and share them with our friends. I cannot say enough about Martin-Scott Winery.

I have been to this winery several times now. I’ve met the owners multiple times and a woman who works for them. They are all genuinely wonderful people. My husband doesn’t drink wine but he’s very interested in how to grow grapes. The owner spent quite a bit of time talking with him about the evolution from apples & pears to grapes. On top of it their wine is absolutely delicious! It’s my favorite winery in Washington for so many reasons. Can’t wait until they launch a wine club. I’ll be one of the first to join!

I have not had the food here but the winery itself is awesome! I came this past December on a snowy night so the trip there was a little harrowing since it was snowing more in East Wenatchee than Wenatchee, but the owners were ridiculously warm! Being from the South I don’t usually expect such warmth in Washington, but we definitely experienced it here. First, our tasting was being handled by a staff member but it was 30 minutes til closing so she left but about 15 minutes before closing the wife of the owner came to chat with us(or maybe she’s a co-owner, as well) and then the owner himself came shortly thereafter and they had wine with us and hung out with us for like an hour! We learned all about the history of the vineyard and how they’re a small operation trying to not price gouge people. We must’ve tried like 8 different wines(for free) and all were delicious. Definitely try the Riesling and the Malbec — I usually hate American Malbecs but they managed to do it right here. I ended up buying a bottle to patronize their craftsmanship — they packaged it up nice enough for me to give it to a friend as a gift. The property is beautiful. The tasting room looks quite posh despite being small and the view is wonderful, even on a dreary, snowy night. We found a much safer way back to Wenatchee than the windy road route we came by, thanks to them. Oh, and they said that they have a private chef come in some Thursdays in the summer for dinners using the freshest ingredients he can buy — now I’m motivated to return to give this a shot.

We purposely go through Wenatchee, on our way anywhere on the East side, just to go to Martin Scott. Their white wines are amazing and oh so affordable. We stumbled across this winery a few years ago after our GPS took us through a dirt road orchard. We loved it then and continue to rave about their wine. We could spend hours here, sitting on the patio, drinking wine in the sunshine. They even have misting on the patio to help with the heat. The owners are very friendly and enjoy telling stories about their wines and naming them after their grandchildren. Because they don’t retail, a stop at the winery is a must. And Mike Scott will load up your 17 bottles of wine(did I say 17 outloud?) and cart them up the hill to your car. Can’t wait to try the Thursday night dinners on the patio soon.

We drove to M-S expecting a restaurant. There is no restaurant, but they do have a special Thursday dinner. This is a beautiful immaculate property. You can buy a bottle of wine and sit on the patio and enjoy the view of the vineyards and orchards. Visiting M-S winery is a romantic treat!

This is heaven for me, we bought a bottle to consume at the winery and were then told to take it up to the private pond in the middle of the winery overlooking the Columbia river. The wine along with the surroundings were amazing. I think that I may just need to purchase this place from them someday, but until then any time I pass through Wenatchee you can find me stopping by to enjoy this place again. Maybe nobody else who goes here uses Unilocal, but if they did this page would be full of good reviews.

I’m sorry, maybe I wasn’t clear in the first review. This winery is winning all the golds! This is some of the BEST wine in the world. Don’t believe me? Ask the awards. The Scotts must not believe it because they keep their prices unquestionably low. $ 12 for the award winning Viognier. You’ve got to try it! And if the enchanting aromas don’t completely sweep you off your feet, the high alcohol content will.
