Goodwill Industries

Just went in this past week and found a good selection of glassware. They have organized the store really nicely now and the workers are friendly and helpful. They do have some furniture, which looked to be of better quality than I expected.

Well, I was very disappointed by the selection at this GOODWILL. I needed somewhere to stop as I just drove from Lacey nonstop on a personal trip and I’m always up for a GW trip as you never know what you’re gonna find. Sadly, I didn’t find anything in this store.
There was hardly anyone in the store which is kind of a bad omen amongst thrift stores, but they did have two very friendly cashiers at the register.
I started off in the men’s apparel section which was very small and had almost no pants below size 34 waist. Those that were there were very picked over or stained. Then I moved on to shoes. I was looking for a pair of boots for the winter and of course did not find any.
As I was loosing hope I thought for sure I could find a video or DVD to add to my collection. The movies were well displayed but again lacking in variety. I didn’t look anywhere else but they seemed to have a decent selection for women, as they usually do, and the linens area was pretty good.
There was practically no furniture. Actually I don’t remember seeing any furniture at all other than a coffee table. This is certainly not one of my favorite GWs.
