I went to Diane’s Image Professionals for a cut and color. I figured being that it is an Aveda salon, it would be fool proof. I ended up having to get my hair trimmed again after my visit because the ends were completely uneven in the back. The color came out ok, however the hairdresser I had was very sloppy with applying it. I also found her language and conversation very unprofessional. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

I’ve been here once, so my experience may be an outlier. The good: Everyone was pleasant. The products are phenomenal and the salon is spacious. The bad: My haircut was so-so; I ended up getting it trimmed more by my regular hairdresser a few weeks later because the ends were still dry. The dry ends were to be expected(my hair is super damaged), but the haircut could have been much better. The dye job — made me cry. Literally. I asked for my hair to be dyed back to my natural color and the stylist dyed it black. Since my hair is NOTBLACK, I went back and asked what could be done about it. They sold me shampoo to strip the color instead of apologizing/giving me a partial refund for my now permanently black hair. The upside: The stripping shampoo works. My hair is LESS black and the NOTBLACK roots are growing in to make me look less weird. Punchline: Not going back. Edit: still the most traumatic hair experience of my life. Downgrade to 1 star.
