Great shop! Knowledgeable staff, lots of guidance with color and weight matching, enjoyable displays. Finally took a class on socks and found Trish (teacher) and Joanne (owner) were very helpful and patient with me. I needed a little more time to master a new technique, fair isle, and they were both very generous with their instruction and their time.
I have been shopping for supplies here for a long time, but grateful that they shared the opportunity of the class with me. Glad that it is really a full service place with patterns as well, plus jewelry and beading classes.

I made the mistake of taking a knitting class there as the teacher, Jill Greenwood, allowed one of the other students to disrupt the class by bringing her ill-​behaved 5 (or 6) year old daughter and a crying baby in a stroller. I couldn’t hear half of what the «teacher» was saying. The little girl was allowed to run all around the room and yell as she saw fit. Neither the irresponsible mother nor the «teacher» did anything to curb this. When I politely asked the teacher if she could do something about the screaming children and the fact that I could’t hear what the teach was saying while teaching the class, she loudly accused me of hating children. The whole experience was a colossal waste of my hard-​earned money and time. The whole thing was a complete clown show
If you are in the Poconos and are looking for yarn and or knitting classes, I recommend that you take your business to the yarn shop in Milford, PA instead. The environment there is far more classy and professional. You won’t find any human trash there.

An abundance of beautiful yarns. And beads too.

Great store that also has beading supplies. I’ve been there several times, my son attends ESU, and its always been a cheery atmosphere. Good sales, nice selection, and happy workers abound. I’d like to see some local yarns but I do enjoy this store.
