Customer service fail. They might have the best wine selection (debatable) but no one knows about wine. I went and asked them for something that pairs with coq au vin — and they thought I was talking about a wine named that. Then I got duplicate charged by the store, went there with my statement and two employees told me to come back with the receipt. Came back with the receipt and the so called manager made me feel like a skeeveball and like I had no validity. Not to mentioned treated me like I was trying to rip him off. Asked me for a copy of my statement since the receipt obviously wasn’t enough. So frustrating. Regardless, I will definitely take my business elsewhere. If the blatant inconsistency with their money management wasn’t enough (what store doesn’t tally up their incoming receipts and inventory) the rudeness was enough.

This place has been in the East Setauket area since I lived here, well over 20 years.
And it shows its age. I just left here, the rugs are all water stained. Lots of dusty bottles and they have all the cheap, crappy wines in the front of the store for easy access for your cheap ass neighbors to bring a «Bottle» to your Christmas party…
Leaving Stop & Shop and need a Mudslide mix? Look no further, this store has all of the corn syrup pre mixes needed for a party. Out of the four liquor stores in the area, this is by far the smallest.
