I came for a NY Giants game, last game of the season. I didn’t have a parking pass, but thankfully, the signs for non-permit led you down the street two exits down to off site parking. There was a shuttle, and parking was $ 35. I was given a pass that gave me access to the shuttle bus. It was a short 3 minute drive to the stadium. All the gates are labeled, so just look for which one you need to go in. There are metal detectors, you have to remove your keys and cell phone. The tickets are scanned and you are on your way to your seat. Kudos to the many men and women who were assisting people to find their seats. On each concourse there are multiple food places and shops to get gear in. Any type of food I could think of, I was able to find. The prices are fair and typical for any NFL team. After scoring some goodies, I took the escalator up to the third level where my seats were located. I was on the 50 yard line, with pretty awesome seats. Perfect for photo opportunities! At the end, the shuttle pick up was located near the Pepsi gate, really easy to get to and on the bus. There was a little traffic as I was leaving to head back to NYC, but nothing too crazy or unexpected.

This past Patriots vs. Jets game(Jets won boo) was the third time I had been to MetLife stadium as a Patriots fan. All games have been Coaches Box or Club seats. Aside from the«passion» Jets fans exude for hating on the Patriots, all experiences have been excellent. From the gates to getting to the seats and food/beverage, friendly and professional service from the team at MetLife. Thank you MetLife. Go Patriots!

This was my first time to the Metlife Stadium and I had a blast watching the Giants — Jets game! It’s quite a bit of a hike to the field though but luckily you have a public transportation option. I would say that the safest bet is to drive there, however, the post-game traffic and parking may even the playing field. We parked in lot J and it wasn’t a terrible experience — I will say that they do a good job of packing everyone in so that you can fit. If you’re sans vehicle, the NJ Transit can literaly bring you steps away from the field. I thought that they’re «security» measures were pretty silly. With heightened threat levels, I understood the metal detectors. However, the delay in movement(from having to walk through the detectors) basically caused huge crowds all around stadium. Given that in Paris, the terrorist targeted outside of the stadium, I would think that this is not an ideal situation. I did not feel unsafe, however, I thought the measures where not thought out. The guards were all super nice, which I appreciated since I figure they deal with drunk fools day in and day out. I only snacked on pretzels and mustard, so all I have to say is that the mustard is solid!

Went out for the Jets-Bills game recently and it was a disaster. My umbrella was confiscated at the gate(should have seen the bad omen in this) on a very rainy day. Jets sucked, which I can’t hold against the stadium, but the trip back was a horrendous scene out of some war movie. Drunk, tired bros and the rest of us huddled masses gathered in droves of thousands waiting for the NJ Transit cattle cars to transport us back to civilization(or at least, as far as Secaucus). People feigned injuries and did what they had to do to move up in the«queue» but it took most of us a good hour or two just to get unto the train. Never again.

In section 149 my usher has been super knowledgable about the stadium and has been very helpful with other fans. It’s great when ushers love and are dedicated to they’re job

This stadium is awesome! I’ve been to many games in many stadiums and by far this is the best! Maybe me being a fan influences my decision making, but go big blue! The stadium is always clean and the food is great! Being around so many fans also help deliver more impact and love for my Giants. It’s a great game verses a hated New York rival. I got great seats in the 100 level, I could swear Eli Manning wanted to toss me a pass! I recommend going to see the stadium. Go Big Blue!!!

Home of the Jets and Giants, stopped last week to catch the Jets/Jags game. The stadium is really clean with ample bathrooms, food concession stands and apparel stands. I will say this, while it is a new stadium, as you walk around it, nothing really wows you. It is a bit sterile but it gets the job done. I do like how the walking areas around the concession stands are quite large and the gates to get in and out are plentiful and quick moving. Concession stand prices are $$$$ but I think that is expected. So no real comment on that. Plenty of transportation options around the stadium. You can drive, take the train, busses, shuttle, taxi or über. Even after the game, plenty of taxi and über drivers around ready to take you to where you need to be. The seating is ample and plentiful. There really is not a bad view in the stadium. We were in the lower level, around the 5 yard line, so it can be a challenge to see the other end of the field, but there are 4 huge jumbo screens in each corner of the stadium that allow you to see the action. The only negative I had was being on the aisle seat. Damn people, sit down for 30 seconds and stop walking up and down the aisles. There are plenty of stoppages, do it then. Overall it was a great experience and would go back again.

Love the stadium itself and the tailgating crowd here is awesome! Find parking near the exit to 95 or you will be like us and have to wait 2 hours just to leave the lot…

Home of the Jets/Giants! Came for a game and was it ever a great time. Parking lots open 5 hours prior to kickoff to get your tail gating on. We got tickets to the Hertz five star suite which is located on east side vip entrance. Staff was friendly and directed us towards where we needed to go. Took the elevator to level 5. As we walked along, there’s food and beverages a floor down which is easily accessible by stairs. The suite was clean and luxurious to say the least. Staff timely cleared out all the trash. Overall a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Go Jets!

To be fair, this review is about both the facilities and the sweet seats and view but most importantly that the Jets won vs that other team… oh yeah – the Redskins. So we get there and start a mini-tailgating session(read: location, location). The weather was perfect as we joined the masses on our amble towards the stadium. What a glorious day for football! They have recently changed their rules about handbags so I condensed my provisions into what would fit into my pockets. No problems were to be had. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and good natured. Facilities were super clean– much more so than I’ve seen at Yankee Stadium, that is for sure. Spot is pretty clean and thé crowd – of course– was amazing. Pretty easy layout with plenty of bathrooms. Go check it and cheer on your Team. J-E-T-S!

My beloved NY Jets holding a 4 win to 1 loss set to take on the hapless Washington Redskins, I anxious awaited the moment to exit in the brisk parking lot filled with an early and cold autumn air. The four hours of parking lot tailgating deserves a mention as partons filled their predetermined spaces and filled their bellies with food and beer, while music played. (Quick parking pass rant. What a royal ripoff. Burning the midnight oil on StubHub to find a Green section pass I could purchase for under $ 50.00.) Into the stadium we shuffled, security was friendly and fortunately, not grabbing the areas one may have experience by TSA agents. It appeared as if there were vending and concessions sessions at the peak and valley of every escalator and Customer Care centers at just about every other section. The heavily upgraded food and beverage vendors I had heard about were a nice change from the previous burgers, hotdogs, peanuts, but it was beer I had first intentions of procuring. And the prices were what I thought they would be as were the souvenirs, yes professional sports events are not just a financial drop in the bucket, their extortion. My seats in section 117 were four rows from the field, its ironic that the ticket prices were reasonable, everything else was a good olé ballpark dollar gouging session. After a circumnavigation of the facility not much really jumped out to me as noteworthy. The thirty something foot television above the concession stand caught my eye if just for a moment. Somewhere around halftime, I decided to at least eat a few offerings. So, I ate noodles, hotdogs and popcorn but nothing was good, displayed well in attractively wrapped food stands, plated appropriately but lacked in every way behind the teeth.

Nice stadium. Even far seats make you feel like you’re close! Cool sound system and good quality lights. Also one of the greenest stadiums in the country. Prices for food/drinks are outrageous as typical for stadiums, but other than that this place is great!

There’s parking and trains available. There is good food, if your willing to walk up, down and around to find it. There is alcohol. Not much else to say. When you arrive at the beginning of an event, the restrooms, seats, and concessions are all clean and in good shape. By the end things are a little less shiny but nothing out of the ordinary for the volumes of people occupying the stadium. Aside from the fans, all the employees are generally friendly when they are not robbing you of your money. If you have the option and you aren’t tailgating, I strongly recommend taking the train. You avoid the traffic and lines while getting to enjoy as much of the event as possible. Now, if only they can figure out what to do with Xanadu to make the Meadowlands a little more appealing.

I’ll still call it «Giants Stadium,» but not because of some anti-Jets hatred that others might harbor. At least when it was Giants stadium it had some charm and personality to it. A Giants logo illuminated atop the façade, colored seats(red), and a building that felt a little less«corporate» overall. Metlife stadium has such a cold/industrial feel to it. Sure, I’ve grown accustom to it in the years that’s been open, but when compared to other stadiums in other cities, there is no home-feeling to it. Because two teams have to share it, they made it as plain Jane as possible. While they can change out banners along the field, and lights can be altered depending on the team that’s home that week, there’s still a sense of neutrality during the game. Football stadiums aren’t known for their beauty in the way that baseball ballparks are, but at least when you walk into any other football stadium in America, you can tell which team calls it home… Some positives? Ok fine… Tons more bathrooms than the old place. Concession stands are more plentiful. The stadium is more modern and open(which is nice). You no longer get the swirling winds that the old stadium used to trap inside, now the wind blows through the vent-style outer shell of the stadium. There are 4 Giant video monitors(1 in each corner of the stadium) which provide stats, replays, fantasy updates, etc. — huge upgrade over the old facility. That’s about all I can think of. Prices for food/beer/beverages are still just as abysmal as before(but that’s the norm in sporting venues)

As a Raider fan, you really learn to appreciate other teams stadiums. Watching the Jets destroy the Raiders was still fun, though depressing at the same time. This stadium is beautiful. The tailgating/parking are was fun and easy. Saw a lot of people from Oakland and it was so much fun! The lines for food, drinks, and bathrooms were minimal though it was a packed house and the opening game of the season for the Jets. I am looking forward to going back some day in the future. Preferably when it is not so hot and humid!

I came here for Taylor Swift’s concert and I was glad to see a large parking garage. Some things I noticed: — They changed most of the male restrooms to female which makes sense; the lines were still super long though. They did a good job keeping the bathroom stocked with paper towels and such. — They make sure people don’t stand on chairs but I wished they had a rule about the posters too, it’s nice that people took time to make it but the short people can’t see! — They should have some staff directing the lines as people are walking from the parking lot to the stadium; I stood in the wrong long line — The stadium was clean, the staff were friendly, everyone seemed happy — The exit wasn’t frustrating either; I felt like everyone was able to leave at a decent time

Came here on Saturday night for the Taylor Swift concert. Our group had a limo, which made arrival very easy. The staff was friendly and took pictures for us. It was nice that they took a majority of the men’s restrooms and made them women’s rooms for the night. The lines were still super long, but I can’t imagine what they otherwise would have looked like! The concession stand lines weren’t too long, but of course the prices were crazy, as expected. $ 16 for a frozen drink. Overall, the stadium is nicely laid out and the seats are too cramped. We were at the highest level, which gave us a nice view of everything and they had plenty of TVs in case you wanted a closer look.

Came here to watch a Jets Game! It was awesome. Its a typical stadium. Beer, hot dogs, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didnt have good seats because we won the tickets in a raffle. But at least we saw the game. Getting out wasnt much of a hassle. It was smooth. I would return here, with better seats. Hopefully when I get the chance to come back I will write a better review. But for now, I don’t have much to say about the MetLife Stadium.

I’m a Giant fan. Not a giant Giant fan, but big enough that the numbers 18 – 1 represent the greatest sporting event of my life of fandom.* Big enough that I have an immediate and visceral reaction toward fans of the Cowboys and the Eagles(I would include the Redskins if they were ever any good). Big enough that I get chills when I hear Hells Bells before kickoff. All that said, I just can’t get excited about Metlife Stadium. It’s a bland, corporate monstrosity. I always have fun here, but housing two different teams means that there’s no history, no character, nothing that makes a fan reminisce about LT, The Helmet Catch, The Parcells Era, Strahan(even if he has somehow become Regis), the other Mr. Kathie Lee and all the other wonderful memories from the days of yore. It’s also tough to get excited about $ 10 Bud Lights, terrible food(that didn’t stop me from eating chicken fingers, fries, a hot dog, nachos and a shopping cart pretzel on the way out), and what is shaping up to be an awful season for the GMEN. I definitely still had a blast at a recent game, but the Metlife experience is pretty poor. Some guy in front of us puked everywhere and I can’t even blame him. After all, the stadium is in New Jersey. At least we still own Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. _______________ *Although, this might have to do with the fact that I’m also a Met fan.
