Although one would not think of this place as a business, it is a place of solitude in a rough city. The management is top notch. There is an expectation of behavior that provides a safe environment for those that patronize this place. The gym floor was replaced a few years ago and it is top notch. Pick up basketball is played daily and because of management, it is orderly and everyone gets an opportunity to play. The weight room is pretty dated, but it is clean and everything works. Compton has a reputation of a tough place and it is, but this place enforces a safe environment for its patrons. They charge 2 bucks for daily use-​a good deal.
