Great sushi and sashimi at the sushi bar. Delicious and inventive«roll» specials and one of the only places with red tobiko. Thai food is real good too. Red or green curry chicken is great. Love the Thai fried rice, vegetable and the chicken are my favorites. Hibachi grill is great with a group of 8 – 10 which fill the seats with all your guests, otherwise you are family style which takes much more time. Take out food is packaged correctly for travel and when you get it home, it’s really good food. Give it a try and certainly worth the visit.

Can’t say anything bad about this place. Can’t say anything really good. Everything was an average — food, service, ambiance. Will I go there again? I think so… It is probably the best sushi place in the area.

Nothing great to talk about here food is average with bland taste at times I think the cook is not consistent time to time food is dry or over cooked ask for more sauce they ignore you staff is less than competent with lots of young inexperience people here. The sushi is very good and fresh but pricey the one bright spot East Quogue location is clean and ambient. The hibichi meals for family is slightly better but streaky also have had good ones and bad ones .My opinion over the years is that he opens more Tony’s Asians restaurants the worse the service is not to mention there is no pride or passion in cooking just making money with less than mediocre food. My guess is that he will start to close some these places and focus on great oriental cuisine instead of being a chain. Hit or miss your guess is good as mine.

I’ve been to this place many times. Always entertaining and good food. Tonight I had called ahead to see if they were still offering hibachi at 10 at night.(Sunday closes at 1030). My party(4) and myself drove all the way there and rushed to make it on time. We get there and ask for a seating for us and they said they closed the grills. They turned us away and offered nothing for lying! I’m so disappointed and angry. What kind of business does that?

Alright I’m done with this place. I was a loyal customer for years but the quality has fallen off. The boneless spare ribs are mostly fat, have to throw away half of them so get the large order. The general tso is ALWAYS over cooked. I had to stop ordering it all together. Be careful when ordering a pork egg roll. The last 3 times I ordered a pork egg roll, I got shrimp egg roll. Not good for someone with a shrimp allergy. My wife has to take the first bite of every egg roll now. The rice use to be good but now tasteless. Wonton soup noodles are soggy and hard to swallow. Tonight was my last straw, I’m done with this place

We’ve eaten at Tony’s Asian Fusion in East Quogue a few times a year for a few years now and always have a pretty good experience. We think this location makes the best food out of the others. For the first time, on Friday night, we celebrated a family birthday at Tony’s at the Hibachi Grill. We usually go to the bigger names further away for this experience, but we didn’t have the time to drive. I really thought this was going to be just a so-so experience compared to the likes of Gasho and Benihana, but were we ever surprised! Our entire party ranging from 69 to 2 and all ages inbetween had such a fun, entertaining, and delicious experience in the Hibachi Room. The servers were friendly and the chef was amazing. We have never had such a nice overall experience with Hibachi in the 30 years we’ve been going to them. Our little kids had fried rice for the first time ever and licked their plates clean. We couldn’t believe it. The chef went all out and they were actually entertained the whole meal. They put on such a nice show. As I looked around at the other tables and chef, everyone at those tables was also having fun and laughing. Great job guys! It really is the staff that makes a difference and your Hibachi guys were A+!

My sushi roll was ok, I was disappointed that they no longer served thai or bubble tea. My husband had the shrimp pad thai — it was ok but very small portioned(especially since I had just had the exact dish at Phayathai and it was INCREDIBLE and massive!) Not a bad place if you just want a little something.

Giving it 2 starts because even though clear english is not very important manners are! And it was very infuriating when one of the servers and the manager asked my 31⁄5 yrd old boy at the end of our dinner if he wanted another icecream so he agreed and when they brought the icecream they took my son from his seat and told us he could have it at the bar bc ppl were waiting for table. So we had no option husband n i stood up to put on our coats and in a blink of an eye they were both hugging and pushing away our son from us. Mind you it was crowded and he is a toddler. So i started shouting because they were taking him aways from us(you have to wait for mommy). After it was clear they werent listening to me at all.

I really like the Thai and Japanese offerings at this eatery. I can’t say the same about the Chinese dishes I’ve tried though. The lunch deal offered(except on Sunday) is tough to beat. The portion sizes are such that if offered at dinner I’d be satisfied. The sushi is very well done and as fresh as it gets. On the Thai side, they do a dish called«Thai cashew chicken» that’s just delicious, and the shrimp Phad Thai is on the mark for flavor. Criticisms I’d make are that the Chinese offerings don’t stand up well to the Thai and Japanese, and the dishes marked as spicy really aren’t. It seems the chef(s) has/have acceded to bland American taste. If you want heat ask for it. Some times it’s tough to understand the wait staff too. They’re all Asian and the English isn’t necessarily clear, but that’s a very minor plaint. As a local, I go there about once a month for lunch, and aside from a few dishes on the Chinese side, I’ve been pretty pleased.

Decided to stop in on a Sunday around lunch time, there was one other person dining in and someone waiting for their take out. A waiter told us to seat ourselves anywhere we would like, waited 10 minutes and still no menu, waited another two minutes and left. Every time I come here, there is usually one or two tables and the food is just okay but the service was horrible and it didn’t seem like they really care. Won’t be back!

Went with a group on a Saturday night at 8pm and the place was pretty slow. Sat at the bar to grab a drink and the fish tank was empty, not a pretty sight. When our friends arrived we waited to be seated, but noone came. Eventually someone in my party found a person to sit us at the Hibachi section of the restaurant. The chef was a nice guy and did the usual show, nothing special. All the food came out good and we definitely got pleanty of it! Nothing really stood out from this restaurant, so if you’re looking for somewhere out east to go this is one of the few options there is.

The food at TAF is REALLY good… however, I would stay away from delivery!!! They forget stuff everytime and take sooo long!!! So either eat in or take out. That being said, we’ve eaten in several times and the wait service is great and very accommodating, especially if you have a big party. And again — super delicious. I highly recommend the crispy prawns!

Food generally good for the price — but on our last trip, they ‘ran out of curry’. No red curry, green curry, panyang cuury, massaman curry, etc etc. Thats half the menu gone — and the manager was less than accomodating when one of our 4 meals took 25 mins longer to come than the other 3. I’ll give this place a miss for a while.

Been coming to this place on and off for the past few years. The Sushi is usually on point. As for the Thai and other Asian cuisines, I’ve had better. Went with a friend there for happy hour from 3 – 5 last Thursday. They offer !/2 price Sushi and discounts on drinks during these hours. it used to be ½ price on the whole menu but the waiter didn’t seem to sure about what was discounted and what wasn’t .Ordered 3 nice sized rolls. They were decent .The one thing that majorly pissed me off was that when we were finished we wanted to take home our leftovers and the bartender said we could not because happy hour was not for take out. I tried explaining to him the difference between take out and left overs but he just smiled and said«sorry». So I guess they need to eat too. What a bunch of crap. Oh and another thing is for credit cards they only accept American Express.

Toni’s Asian is alive and well and doing fantastic… You don’t have to know what to order. Ask for a recommendation… and they will take the time to give ideas. and they will bring out great food… cook it on a new hibachi grill…(you have to ask for the hibachi’s — they are in the back not the front of the restaurant)… and they will wow you with great food. and a nice atmosphere… Amid the hit or miss cuisine of the Hamptons. this place was like water in a dessert today. We just left another place that was the opposite of this oasis…(a leave early walk out across town — no mention in my ratings though. off season in the Hampton’s is tough)… but then we arrove here. A favorite of my host… and my first try… The Hibachi grill is the way to go… Get the best combination they have filet mignon, lobster, shrimp & scallops… with rice, vegetables & lo mein. and share it.(I think they only fire up for two. but this dish is large and we ordered an appetizer & drinks so it was ok.) It comes with salad and soup. do not try to eat this dish yourself… not possible… They fire up the grill… sizzle everything right before your eyes… turn plain white cold rice in to the most delicious fried rice I have ever had… and really know how to make me rethink lo mein… It’s enough for three but it doesn’t work like that so wrap it. it is so good. The chef was a young man named«Jason» who’s real name is Jenu Lee(spelling questionable). He was pleasant and put on a low key enjoyable display of cooking. chatting. fire setting… oil drizzling. egg cracking/juggling on the tip of a metal cooking tool… etc. Jenu Lee mumbled questioningly… «Howudulikedafilet?» I said… what do you think? «medum… medeeum rare» Ok. then do that! I know when a cook knows what he’s talking about… even if he’s just saying it in English for 3 years…(he’s a young tall cute guy from China. who seems happy to be here) and he was quiet, friendly and a great chef… and the filet. too good. and too exact… seconds seperate the food from good to great to overcooked takeout. and this was just so fresh and perfect… I also went for the(suggestion requested from cool, low key waiter) Coconut Martini… So perfect… really delicious coconut rimmed glass… and perfect drink… When you drive around a Hampon’s town and stop in a few places and just have a drink.(after not getting the right stay vibe) and then accidently go somewhere where the scallops come out cooked for what seem to be 30 minutes. and the bisque isn’t thicker than water and the merlot is too weak to be kept around from 2006… and leave… and then you try this place… You reallly come to appreciate a good restaurant… in a way you just might not when in Manhattan or «Up Island»… I guess that is part of the charm of the Hamptons off season. you get to forage… and find… and it is all the sweeter. I recommend Tony’s highly. but also doesn’t hurt to against the crowds. and get to the Hampton’s off season. looking for a few good open places if fun, and has gotten easier as more stay open longer. Tony’s hibachi is appreciated out here, it really shines.

I absolutely love this restaurant, definitely a gem in the hamptons. The atmosphere is beautiful. Everything from the wallpaper, to the tables, to the sinks in the bathroom, are chic and modern. Whether going in to dine or sit at the bar, you’ll have an enjoyable experience. The menu has a lot of choices, from Thai, Chinese, and Japanese dishes. My personal favorite is the sesame chicken, and shumai. The shumai is probably one of the best I have ever tasted. The Thai Iced tea is to die for. The portions are large, and the prices are modest for the hampton’s dining scene. Sitting at the bar is even an enjoyable experience. They have a pretty large drink selection, a huge fish tank directly behind the bar, and flat screen tvs if you want to watch a game(which I don’t but some might ;)) The only down side is NOCREDIT. Shocking right? I was shocked when I went to pay with my credit card since there aren’t many signs letting you know, and if there were I’ve completely missed them each time I go in here. You can go to the ATM machine inside to pay for your meal, but beware you’re going to pay a hefty fee to get it out! Other than that, a class act for dining!
