Cool little spot and nice stretch of beach for running your dogs and kids. Always quiet, trash free and manicured. Our family comes here once a week at least in the summer and every so often in winter, it’s a nice break and scenery. At least 9 out of 10 times you can catch big tanker ships or tug boats rolling through the harbor, it’s super cool to see. It’s also across the street from the carousel which is one of the oldest running carousels in RI (runs in summer/spring) and a nice little calm shack runs in summer. Take a stroll enjoy your surroundings and don’t forget your family :)
Plenty of parking, baby carriage friendly, take ramp to water or newly built wooden stairs.

Beautiful park across the street from Crescent Park Carousel.
This park has a shoreline accessible to the public. Dogs are allowed and parking is free. The park is kept clean since the majority of dog keepers pickup after their dogs.
I have enjoyed this park tremendously over the last few years. It serves as a nice getaway from the daily routine.
