Suffering with a lame arm, I was excited to learn that I could get an x-ray at this location because it wasn’t too far from work and it meant I would not have to endure 195 west traffic at 5 p.m. I called earlier in the day to obtain directions and hours. I was advised that they took their last patient 4:30 p.m. So I left work early to make sure I was there before the cut off time. Upon arrival, I was informed that they could not see because they short staffed. I returned to my car to try research another option for and x-ray. As I’m sitting there, in my rearview mirror I watch the tech leave. So thank you for your bad customer service because I was able to find a location that works directly with my doctor and is excited about the referral I gave to 171 coworkers!

Called earlier to set up a appointment but the nurse told me I can come right in. I filled out an application, handed over my insurance card, waited five minutes & I was in. The X-ray took less than ten minutes. I was in & out in less than 20 minutes. That’s a great thing for a medical building, can’t complain.

I have had many MRIs and I have to say the East Providence Branch was a wonderful facility and a delight. I have been to Cumberland and Providence and I was treated like an abused dog. During three trips to the East Providence branch I did not have to wait one minute before they introduced themselves. I was afraid and they treated me with the such wonderful respect. They gave me slippers, unlike going barefoot in other centers. they spoke to you like a human, unlike being thrown in a capsule. They gave me music and asked if I was OK during the procedure. My hats off to The open MRI on Waterman Avenue. They are a very caring and a very compassionate facility. Unfortunately, I had to do a few of the the closed MRIs. I was treated horribly. It is not that I am afraid of an MRI but my anxiety peaks when you have to wait a good 45 minutes and then wait for another 10 minutes next to a bathroom alone with no encouragement in a gown and barefoot-not to mention being cold. I was left alone for a long time to finally be shoved into a capsule. Not once did they ask me if I was OK. No one should be treated in this manner. it is scary. Sometimes I wonder if my anxiety is due to the to miserable people working in the health field that are not mentally fit or qualified to care for the sick. I cried after my MRI because I was treated like an animal/i have had horrible experiences with the exception of the MRI on Waterman Avenue. Anyone that has to have an MRI — this location is the best. They are compassionate. Please ask for tranquilizers if you must go elsewhere
