The food I can eat is 5 stars — but I am allergic to egg. All I can eat is the chipped beef — which is awesome. My family loves the place and even my 7 year old cleans his plate. So — it would be 5 stars except there’s only 1 thing on the menu I can eat. The service also gets hit and miss during busy times — if you aren’t a regular or recognized, you can get forgotten about. One time I was told twice a refill was on its way for my decaf coffee — and I still, literally, had to go up to the cash register and ask for the refill. It’s also cash-​only — there’s a turkey hill 2 minutes walk to the north to get cash.

We stopped after our morning walk in mount Gretna forest. We leave nearby and we have always wanted to go there for a brunch. This time was late and we went for the usual burgers and hot dogs. Good and fair price. The french fries were not good because to greasy and not cooked enough. The place is old style, service is very friendly and the kids are more than welcome! We will come back for a late breakfast, because we think this place is better for that. I regret I did not try the chili!

Love this place, fast service, good food, nice portion sizes, great for a quick bite over lunch break. My only compliant is that they are cash only and only open for breakfast & lunch.
