Refused to authorize a prescription refill unless I «come down» meaning wait for an hour + in his crappy, over-​packed waiting room so he can charge my insurance for an unnecessary visit. This despite the fact that my last visit was less that three months earlier. I asked to speak to him but he refused to come to the phone or call back.
My previous doctor simply called the pharmacy when I needed a refill
