Decent food. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great knowledge of what’s on the menu and what to choose.

I was out by Sunken Meadow Beach and wanted a nice dinner at a laid back place. Thanks to Unilocal I found Gyro time. I love gyros and Aegean Grill(Gyro Time) was nearby. The food was excellent. I had a meat platter and pretty much tried all of their meats.(Gyro, chicken gyro, doner, etc.) All was excellent. The sauce and pita was very tasty. Overall Aegean Grill(Gyro Time) will be my go to place for food after the beach.

Finally tried out Aegean Grill(aka Gyro Time) in East Northport today. Many of the great Unilocal reviews and my own obsession with Greek food lead me to this choice for lunch. I ordered a Gyro of course and a side of French fries. GOOD: –Flavor –Yogurt Sauce –Crispy French fries –Good pita bread –HUGE gyro and portion –Great value/price BAD: –Gyro was WAY too big to eat because of the excessive amount of lettuce and onions –Lamb meat seemed a bit overcooked/dried out Overall, Aegean was good, but not the best Gyro I’ve ever had. Still worth trying again though for other Greek dishes.

You know a place is good when you call, and they hear your voice and know what to start cooking. Avgolemono soup(lemon orzo), and chicken souvlaki sticks. I’ve been coming here pretty much since they opened, and am a definite fan. The one thing that I will say, is that it can be a bit pricey in relation to the amount of food that you get. For almost $ 5 for a small serving of soup, I wish pita bread came with it. It does, however, come with the souvlaki sticks which works fine for my needs. For those who typically don’t order Greek, unless you say otherwise — when ordering souvlaki or many other items, these dishes are typically made with lamb. I don’t eat lamb, maybe it’s the cuteness factor, maybe it’s because I count sheep at night to fall asleep, whichever reason I don’t eat it. So, unless you specify chicken they will assume you mean lamb. I made this mistake once, and it kinda killed my appetite. I made my boy gobble it down and I stuck to my soup. Oh well. The lemon potatoes are also very good, but I would suggest that you order it and specify to go super light on the oil. Much healthier, and much tastier. The pita pizza is always good, my brother swears by the Greek salad and my boy loves the souvlaki wrap. The falafel is O.K., your average falafel. Other positives are a nice, clean interior and a friendly and helpful staff. Opa!

I was very pleased with my meal. Although I took my meal to go, I did notice the atmosphere was nice and very suitable for a casual dining experience. Its a nice fresh looking building with digital menu displays above the counter. It is nice to find a greek restaurant like this in the area.

Wanted some good inexpensive greek food, and found this place! it was delicious! I ordered a regular gyro wrap. the meat and tzatziki sauce and pita were all tasty. The lettuce was a little sub-par, but that’s okay. My boyfriend the chicken gyro platter, and it came with a small greek salad, rice, pita and yogurt sauce. His was also really good! The rice was yummy. All in all, our bill came out to be $ 22, not bad… but not amazing. It has decent prices, and good food. I definitely recommend this place!

For years and years I thought I didn’t like Greek food and would always turn down any Greek dining option my wife suggested. Gyro Time changed that for me. Today, I can’t get enough of Gyro Time’s gyros! Probably the best gyro I’ve ever had. I don’t know if it’s the fresh pitas, the crispy delicious lamb piled high or the yogurt sauce. Whatever it is, I love it. On top, my wife seems to like the Grape Leaves, Greek Salads and Spinach Pies.

The best greek food from here to Flushing. Inexpensive compared to the other local places and by far the best and freshest. Quick delivery, perfect tzatziki. Stick to the specialties and you won’t be disappointed. Special mention for the excellent falafel, also the best I can find around anytime.

Food is okay here. I may be a bit of a greek snob as I used to work at a fantastic greek place. Everything is simply OK here. The gyro is okay, the falafel is okay, the salads are ok, and the yogurt sauce is okay. We typically pick up food, but have once sat down and ate at the restaurant. The service was mostly slow, and the windows were awfully drafty(it was cold out that day). I’ve seen some coupons for this place in the local clipper, seemed like some decent deals in there so you may want to look.

Great food and excellent value. Only complaints are the space is a bit cramped and take out time on the weekends can be very long.

We ordered in for the 1st time. We have never eaten here either so it was a figers crossed situation. The food was delivered in the time that we were told which was ½ hr. It came, hot, perfect & well wrapped. All 3 adults eating loved everything we ordered. Gyro meat, salads, soup, home made fries, baklava, chicken, pita, yogurt sauce, gyro pizza, grilled shrimp and falafal all really great! Its the best greek food Ive had in a long time. Good prices too! We called to let them know how much we enjoyed & they were very gracious! Looking forward to next time, Commack food lovers
