The Victorian House Bed and Breakfast

Beautiful location and house. Breakfast was mediocre. Ran by a husband and wife. The men referred to in other review are no longer there.
We reserved a certain room for a certain price and they told us we could go into the master bedroom because they weren’t booked up. The next morning they charged us for the price of the biggest room, even though that’s not what we booked. When my husband tried to tell them, they said that wasnt possible because someone else had booked the room we said we did. So basically they double booked the room and we had to pay for their error. Also, they DID NOT say that ONLY TAKE CASH and then expected it the next morning which we were not prepared for.
So our affordable stay to see a show at the wonderful Gateway Playhouse ended up costing us double than expected for a very average stay. It was nothing special.
Also know that the other rooms share a bathroom.
I would not recommends stay here. It’s a waste.

Can’t say enough good things. Chris and Todd were great hosts. The breakfast (pumpkin pancakes, chicken apple sausage, roast apples — all organic) was the best meal of our trip. The house is huge and well decorated — much better than living in my own apartment.
The B&B is also home to a horse rescue ranch, so the surrounding area is nice to look at. A steal at the off season prices.
