Great nail salon in Murray hill. I can get a terrific Mani for(say what?) $ 10.50! They are always friendly and make sure to do a great job.

Thru years of experimenting with salons all over the island. This one is on the short list. Def top 5. Inexpensive. manicure $ 7. Acryllic fullset $ 25!!! Come on, u cant get that many places. Plus the massage they give u while your drying is at least 10+ mins. Small outdated place, but very nice people.

There is still a nail salon at this location, but it is no longer called Clover Nails, so I am wondering if there is a new owner. My experience was horrid here. It wasn’t the cleanest place, but unfortunately of a similar standard to many of the salons I have been to out on long island. I came in with a friend for a pedicure, and from the second I walked in they try to push extra services on you. The fact that they weren’t busy on a Saturday afternoon should have said something about the type of salon it is. The polishes in the rack looked dusty and crusty and honestly were all thick and overused. I finally found a color that didn’t look too nasty, and settled in to get my pedicure. They convinced us to get their«summer special» which was a pedicure with hot stone massage, paraffin for your heels, a manicure and an 8 minute massage for $ 25. It was a pretty good deal so after much pushing we finally agreed… The pedicure was ok, but the girl who did mine forgot my paraffin. She also filed my toenails a bit crooked, and left them a little too long. I also felt like the hot stone massage did nothing for the legs and I wouldn’t do it again. The manicure is where things really went bad for me. When we sat down at the table she told me I had very nice nails, and then proceeded to ruin them. She asked me if I wanted them the same shape, to which I replied«yes» to no avail. I like my nails very squared, just a slight tapering at the tips. The girl filed them rounded and also tapered in the sides dramatically so they were almost angled inward. It was also a horridly crooked filing job, I was ready to cry when I saw them. Then she proceeds to complain that my Orly polish is «too watery» perhaps because all of their polish was thick and old and crusty, and that is what she is used to. The owner of the salon had to take over the manicure mid way through because it was coming out so awful. Then they upcharged me for a «special topcoat» that I never authorized them to use. I was so pissed that while we were under the nail drier I was complaining loudly to my friend about my nails and the owner kept coming over to tell me it was the fault of my polish. She went so far as to tell me that it «must not be a good brand like Essie or OPI, and it has too many chemicals». Orly is a salon brand like Essie and OPI and it is also big 3 free so it has fewer chemicals than many polishes. I was pretty pissed at this point. I them complained that I didn’t get my paraffin and there was no apology for this, and when we mentioned the massage that should have gotten in the special the manager came over and just aggressively rubbed us with a dirty looking hot towel for about 30 seconds TOPs… The whole time she kept trying to push my friend to be a regular customer, even though she didn’t live nearby. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a nail salon. I actually had to cut down my nails and file them back into shape that same day, and repaint them the next day because the polish job was so bad. I DONOT recommend.

The best manicure/pedicure you could ever get! I love love love clover nails. It started as the perfect lunch break when I worked near by, and now I go regularly. Their basic pedicure is like the«spa pedicure» at most other places. The best part is the wax bag on your heels to soften the skin. The facials slightly painful at first, but that happens everywhere. The leg waxing is cheap and LASTS. Marie is my favorite, and she does a great job.
