Getting the runaround! I’m getting a new fence installed by Hastie fence and I am less than impressed. After sending in a sizable deposit and being told my fence would be installed in 4 weeks it took 6 weeks to get it installed. I called twice a week to try and get an installation date and was given the runaround each and every time. I was actually told my fence installation was pushed back because a bigger commercial client needed a fence. (Nothing like putting your residential clients on the back burner which are probably their bread and butter.) I was replacing an already existing fence for my puppy. After taking my fence completely down I was informed the gates were on back order. So here I am with a new fence and chicken wire for gates. Getting the run around all over again. No one has been able to give me an answer as to when I will have the gates! It’s been weeks now, and I will never use them again. However I would hire their installers anytime. The guys who actually put up the fence did a wonderful job and should start their own company!!!
Disappointed with a puppy and no place to pee

This was a big job (550 feet) in an uninviting location fill of brush and poison ivy! Glenn came soon after we called GMH Fence and measure the work to be done. The estimate was received a few days after and the price was very competitive. The crew did a great job removing the old stockade fence and installing a new chain link fence. They were hard working, courteous and left a clean site. Can only highly recommend GMH for any fence work.

Very poor customer service after the sale. I spent over $ 5000 for a fence and gates. First issue was that they promised that a 5 foot gate would allow for commercial mowers to enter the yard. This was false and they did not even create a gate with a 5′ opening. It would not swing open fully. They ignored us for a year before coming back out to only defend their bad decision and tried to charge us another $ 1000 for a larger gate which is ridiculous given the entire project was $ 5000. Also they never came back even after several calls over months to fix a rust spot on a chain link gate that should have been aluminum or galvanized. Additionally, they way over charged in installation when they had to remove 40′ of chain link from my neighbors property line to put up my fence. they never quoted this until the day of the job and charged over $ 500 extra for a simple step.
I’ve never used these guys before but have been very happy with the other major fence contractor this guy sold to folks that know how to run a shop… Stay away from these guys if you want service after the sale! They never responded to my last email offering to work this out…
