I love there Michigan salad and the pizza is good too and all the food I have had there

Always a good meal, great service, and lots of TVS for the sports fan in all of us.
Wide variety of food and drink for everyone.

Can’t really go wrong at Jimmy’s. Food is good and there is a variety of choices. Bar tenders are great and so are most of the servers. Keno and pull tabs are a plus. TV’s abound as well.

I went for lunch with a coworker.
I thought it had a nice pub atmosphere, but the food was overpriced for the quality. I had a club salad that really wasn’t that great. It had a disappointing amount of meet and some weird bacon bit type of thing.
I wouldn’t go again.

Had to ask 3 times to get the drink special price which was posted in 2 places at the front entrance. They showed no remorse. Too many good restaurants in the area to give them a second chance.

We went last nite for dinner, it was after the huge rush, so I had much higher expectations than we received, the food was over priced and awful at best. The beer flat, all 4 of us had complaints and better yet… No one there gave a crap, 100 bucks for 2 burgers an app a smal pizza and a half rack of ribs, no way, seriously. Read this before you ever go there, the ONLY thing they have going for them… There is no place to eat out here so people go… Discussing food

A power house menu: American, Mexican, Greek, and Italian. Serving the all-​star dishes from each region and doing it well. The atmosphere varies depending where you sit. Stunning outdoor patio, classic pub, private party room, and an indoor version of street corner bistro. Large portions no matter what you order. Everything was cooked to perfection, I would highly recommend Jimmy’s Pub. A little pricy but worth the trip.

Great pizza sauce & toppings. I prefer a very thin crust, but I was happy with the pie!
We had a Greek salad, medium pizza and 2 drafts $ 30. Great food with enough leftover for lunch tomorrow. Best pizza I have had in this area.

My wife and I went here for dinner last night. We had the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer. It was so good! They serve it with fried pita. It probably has a billion calories but it’s tasty. I ordered the meatball sub and my wife had the French dip sub. I had the French fries and she had onion rings. After eating half the appetizer we could barely finish half our entrée. Everything was delicious and we had a lot of leftovers to take home. The service was great. The waitress recommended my wife order a Long Beach Iced Tea and it was big and good.

Went with four other people for after wedding drinks and some apps. We were greeted with a sign to seat ourselves, which we did. I found that a bit odd for a Saturday night, that and the fact that the place wasn’t very busy.
Our party was greeted by a nice gal who was going to be our server. She had to go to the bar to find out what single-​malt scotches they carried, and came back with a list that included blends, but I’ll put my scotch snobbery away for a bit and carry on with this review.
Drinks came out quickly, and we ordered 3 different apps. They were quite good, but nothing out of the ordinary. For a pub, that isn’t too concerning though. As long as they aren’t terrible, I am a happy guy.
Service sort of lacked from this point. She became a bit hard to find, but did show up before her absence became to frustrating. Her demeanor was pleasant though.
Gave four stars as the place was nice and clean, the experience okay, but it just needs a little polish on a few areas to make it a five star review. Someone at the door to greet you would be a start, some basic liquor knowledge and a brush up on service skills would do the rest. Not a bad visit at all!

This is a convenient location, but rarely go here, and my last visit confirmed why. We stopped for lunch on a Sat. afternoon, restaurant was not busy at all. We placed our order, and I specifically said, twice, that I did not want mushrooms on my sandwich. After waiting 15 minutes to take our order, then another 20 minutes to get our food, my sandwich came with mushrooms. I waited another 15 min. for waitress to return, told her I didn’t want the order with mushrooms, so waited another 20 minutes for the correct order. It was not worth the wait, either. We asked the waitress for a credit, but was only given a 10% credit on my sandwich. Will not go to this place, again.

I read previous reviews, and it seemed that my large group of 25, we’re going not to like the food or service!
WELL, let I am convinced that this place has 5star waitress’s such as the one We had service 25 with 5 minor jabbering children under 6 years old, We had Heather as our waitress and she was very kind, caring, and well orientated as they come. She was attentive, knowledgable, understanding and concerned. All the food came hot, a lot, and we all ordered what we got. The Bartender was very knowledgable in mixed drinks, not killing you with alcohol, I am very happy with this Pub, and it does have some amazing dishes, the Chef does very well. Thank You from a large Family for a very delightful Dinner! We will Return!

Stopped by last night after the MSU basketball game. I really enjoyed the Blu Cheese Burger and my wife had a Calzone. The burger was cooked exactly how I ordered and the Calzone was very tasty, although it could have had more cheese. Fries were just ok… nothing special. It would also have been nice to see a larger craft beer selection from a variety of our local brewery’s. Our waitress was excellent and it was a great atmosphere, so all in all a very enjoyable experience.

When in a pinch, I decided to disregard all these reviews that mentioned terrible service and mediocre food. Do not make the same mistake!!! Gave ourselves an hour and fifteen minutes to eat, mentioned to the server that we were on a bit of a time crunch and still someone in our party had to leave before the bill came.
No one in our party of 3 was impressed with their food. I had a chicken fajita wrap. I’m pretty sure the chicken was pre-​cooked at GFS and then stuck in my wrap. My boyfriend’s fish tacos and his mom’s salad were both just «meh».
Honestly, I’ve had better food at a fast food restaurant and considering we spent $ 40 on dinner, I would have much rather just had a McDonald’s snack wrap.

We had Pizza and their sampler platter. The chicken tenders, cheese sticks and green beans where a frozen product. Pull them out and toss them in a fryer. Pizza we were pretty sure was also frozen pizza dough. Prices here aren’t cheap and they charge for ever thing they can.
There are much better places in East Lansing and the Lansing Area to eat at.

Jimmy’s is still a good place to watch a game with friends.
I am warming up to the food. This time I ordered the ham & cheese sandwich. It is full of three different cheeses and a good amount of ham.
The service was slow and that is why it is still only three stars.

Go to Jimmy’s a couple of times per month. Went today at about 1:15 for lunch and left after 10 minutes with no one stopping by to take an order, or even acknowledge our presence. Food has always been good but service is spotty. I have walked out once before without being served, but thought it was just an off day. I won’t be back again for a long while.
