Horrible. Stayed on the phone for 20 minutes waiting to talk to a representative, then when she finally picked up, I felt like I was trying to get into the US via green card. After asking me where I wanted them delivered(and 30 minutes after dialing) she informed me that they don’t deliver to my «area» of east lansing?

Can a cookie be too gooey? I don’t think so. I got a peanut butter chocolate cookie here and devoured it. It really needed a cup of coffee?

Fresh cookies that melt all over your hands, but do you care? Hell no! You’re hungry and eating cookies at 1:30 in the morning. It’s a great dietary supplement, full of nutrients and protein(not really) that will ease that body into just the right position on the sofa, soon leading to a comatose state that will twist your insides until you wake up ten hours later and wonder what happened. Yeah, it’s that kind of feeling.

Love the cookies, but don’t love that they changed their delivery zone. They used to deliver to my house. I used to order them all the time and have them delivered. When I just called, they informed me that they changed the zone… TWOBLOCKS up than where I live. I literally miss it by two blocks now. SOLAME.

Da bomb dot com, that’s all I can say about this place. Warm cookies every single time, they melt in your mouth! for the best experience eat them right away. I messed up on my last visit and ate mines when I got back to my car in the parking ramp and it was so cold outside that by the time I got there my cookie was cold too. I wish Grand Rapids could get an Insomnia Cookies.

It appears that now that I am a college student, my free nights won’t be spent getting drunk off my ass and falling into a ditch, but gorging myself on delicious, gooey S’mores Deluxe cookies… I’m definitely planning on trying more, especially the Peanut Butter Cup and the Triple Chocolate. I figure that in the end, spending the majority of my money on things like cookies and ice cream is worth it. Don’t you agree?

I had never heard of Insomnia Cookies before I came to East Lansing, so I was completely unaware that they are a franchise. Husband’s co-worker is a big fan of these, and repeatedly recommended to him to check it out. We finally got our chance recently, and I enjoyed them, but I wasn’t all that crazy about them either. Don’t get me wrong, they were good cookies. They tasted great, though a bit too sweet for us(especially the S’mores deluxe cookie, but the Snickerdoodle was better). I liked that their novelty is a simple one — served fresh and warm out of the oven, and they deliver to all the starving college students and patrons alike until 3am! However, that’s pretty much where the brand has its point of difference. For two cookies, we spent around $ 5 after taxes, and they weren’t even that big(probably about 3″-4″ in diameter). It’s not like that they use inventive techniques or special ingredients to warrant the price, so I didn’t think it was really worth it. Also, not like it pertains to me, but what about the gluten sensitive individuals? It would be such a huge bummer if you were at a party and everybody was munching away, and you couldn’t just because they didn’t offer it. I’d still come here if I were in the area for an occasion treat, but it’s not something I’d come out of my way for. Next time, we’d probably stick with 1 cookie and split it. Oh, and don’t forget to enter your name for a free box of cookies!

I’ve never really understood or gotten ‘into’ the whole cupcake craze. but cookies, now that I can get behind! Quite frankly, I am surprised there is not more stores/franchises specializing in cookies(besides Mrs Fields) because, well. Because cookies, that’s why. Right in the middle of campus on Grand River, Isomnia is open until 3am every day. I have a feeling they cater to plenty of drunk/non drunk people’s mad midnight cravings. Cookies are a reasonable $ 1.35 each, $ 2.50 for the beefier ‘specialty’ cookies. We have ordered quite the sampling on our visit(for reporting back to Unilocal purposes, of course). White Chocolate chip macademia, chocolate chunk, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin and chocolate mint chip. Favorites were the chocolate/mint variety, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter. The cookies are kept in a warmer box so that each cookie can be enjoyed in its glorious gooey glory. Insomnia has good cookies, late hours and delivers on campus. Pretty perfect if you ask me!

Insomnia cookies has some good cookies. They are fresh, warm and gooey. I recently went with my girlfriend and we also had them again delivered. Who would’ve thought you could get warm cookies delivered? I had a white macadamia nut cookie that was delicious. It was good, but it is a little pricey for cookies. This place will crave anyone’s late-night sweet tooth.

Maybe it’s a Michigan thing, but everyone I encountered in the Lansing area was incredibly friendly. Even though insomnia cookies is a chain, I had never been before, so I asked the cookie saleswoman which flavor is her favorite, and she was more than happy to share her faves. I ordered her favorite(and now mine too) — a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, which served as my dinner for the evening. It was so warm and gooey, fresh out of the oven, and absolutely delicious! I was a little bothered by the amount of butter left on my fingers after consuming this mammoth cookie, but then again… if you’re going to eat an insomnia cookie for dinner, you’re probably not too concerned with calories or buttery fingers.

$ 5.00 for 2 cookies is bonkers! I wasn’t really paying attention to the price until staff rang-up our order. The cookies(s’mor and triple chunk) were OK, but the price is too much.

Convenient, probably too convenient solution to late night sweets cravings. I ordered a package that included a variety of cookies and brownies. The cookies were still warm, I felt they were a little too gooey i.e. undercooked. I like my cookies soft, but not bordering on raw. The brownies are really thick and also too gooey i.e. undercooked. The website said 30 – 45 minutes for delivery, but they took an hour. I would use them again, but will have to specify to cook them a little longer and hope my craving can hold out an hour.

When you’re hungry at 3am, what do you do? Call Insomnia! When you’re drunk walking up and down Grand River and can’t think of a place to eat, what do you do? Call Insomnia! When you’re busting your butt studying in the library, what do you do? Call Insomnia! Yes, Insomnia cookies make the warmest and bestest cookies any college student could ask for. It’s like coming home and mom’s baked some treats for you to engulf. You can easily place an order online, or walk to them(next to Taco Bell) and they will get you your cookie! Yes, it sounds weird to want cookies, but if you’re craving something sweet and something open late to just quench your cravings for something… they should be your dessert dial! I have not been there in about 2 years, but when I drive past, I can’t help my drool a little. :)

Oh Insomnia Cookies… how I love to skive off of work and walk over to Stucchi’s on State St. and partake of a delicious, gooey, scrumptious cookie treat. My faves: S’more — pure sugar high, you will be vibrating but blissful. M-n-M — yep, the familiar candy in buttery dough Peanut Butter cup — I usually hate peanut cookies, but these are grand I must stop writing now, am getting a craving.

Dear Insomnia Cookies, Thank you for being the reason my ass got a little bit larger during graduate school. I credit you for being the reason I gained about ten pound and being smart enough to deliver. I know nothing makes a weeping graduate student who realizes she’s graduating into a terrible economy feel better than to stuff her chubby cheeks with super soft and warm M&M cookies — all while watching reruns of Grey’s Anatomy instead of working on her thesis. Thank you for allowing me to also put a little more thunder into these thighs by letting ice cream be an additional flubber food I can add. God bless you Insomnia, because quite frankly I don’t know how I would have lived without my 3:00 am cookies. I do know, I’d probably be 10 pounds lighter. Love, Chubby M.S. with cottage cheese thighs and no job

Cookies taste good & are warm. We walked in therefore I can’t vouch for delivery. I think it’s a great idea which obviously caters to college towns(they started @ U Penn) & should probably think of semi-cheaper prices in order to bring in more broke college student business;) I was disappointed that they don’t have cups for you to pour your milk into if you want to dip your cookies :/
