You get what you pay for.$ 4.99 large pizza as thin as a bed sheet, if you are into that-​go for it.

Download eat street and get $ 3 large pizzas sometimes! Such yummy pizza and good price:) We eat it almost weekly and has pretty speedy delivery time. Their garlic butter with pokkee stix are soooooo good.

The crust was mushy :-(the mozz. Sticks were bland… The nacho cheese sauce was flavorless… And for 30 bucks we got a 10 in pizza and mozzarella sticks… We are still hungry and very disappointed. Won’t be ordering here again:-(

As I sit here, staring at a ²⁄₃ empty box of Pokee Stix with a Domino’s employee who refused to admit she enjoyed them and a big smile on my face. This is good food, though I can’t speak for the pizza, don’t know that I’ve ever had it. GoombaS Pokee Stix are such a unique treat. It’s good, fast, but not cheap so whatever.

Guys this pizza is stupid delicious. For price +flavor the number 1 place in EL is here. For high price, best place is pizza house. Every delivery man is so nice. Please consider going here!

Best pizza, best employees, I can’t say enough great things. Can’t go wrong with Goombas!

I decided to check out Goomba’s because any good Nintendo/​Mario Bros fan would want to check this place out from the name alone.
When it comes to pizza I’m the first to admit I’ve had my fair share of both slices and pies. That said, Goomba’s was a bit disappointing.
The prices were higher than most other pizza places without having a dine-​in option, superior service or justified by food quality.
I ordered a simple 14″ Pepperoni Pokee Stix, Pepperoni and Banana Pepper 12″ Pizza and a 2-​liter of coke and it cost me almost $ 30, AFTER the weekly ad discounts.
The pizza was alright, not great. The sauce had some flavor and the cheese was certainly melty, but the price for the 12″ size was unexpectedly high.
The Pokee Stix were much better. Flavorful and well seasoned for «finger food», but certainly not as great as the hype around campus makes it seem.
I’m new to Lansing, so maybe I need some adjustment… but other cities I’ve lived in have had superior quality and service for the type or prices charged by Goomba’s.
I may be back to try other menu options eventually, but at least I’ll go in well aware of the prices.

The Pokey Stix at Goombas are my absolute favorite and go to after a late night out. The service and counter are so friendly that you want to stay and chat after you get your food. Even though I’ll be graduating in May I will definitely have to come back to EL for some Goombas.

Good pizza, there is better out there but no better people. Happy, receptive, outgoing… I could go on. Great place to check out, you will not regret it.
And then there’s pokey sticks. Worth every red cent.

So I am back in Lansing visiting family and had to get my pokey stix fill. I won’t ask why they changed from Gumby’s to Goomba’s pizza. I also didn’t go to MSU, but rather another school that had a Gumby’s pizza. I recently had some pokey stix and they were almost as good as I remember back in college. They might not be as good sober and at this point certainly give me a lot more agita than I had in my early 20’s, but they were still delicious and brought back a lot of fun times.

this is the best pizza place in town, great food, great prices and the staff is amazing, great people making great food. also the fact they stay open late is great because of my shift i can get a great pizza after a hard days work, and there’s nothing better then ending your day with a slice of Goombas pizza and some poke sticks

Love these guys! Terrific food. AMAZING people!
