Awful!!! Had the half soup half sandwich, soup was cold, and sandwich portion was tiny. Service was weird.

Was at a conference and decided to leave for lunch with my friend. The reviews for this place looked great. The service was wonderful. The only reason I did not like it, was because the food was bland. I can’t fault them for catering to the larger demographic, but this place just wasn’t for me. I would not eat at this chain again.

Manager claimed to have three hands. Also called me and my friends savages and refused to give someone parmesan when asked. Not enough flame on food. Extreme flame coming from the radiator. No free refills on pop, also didn’t have cherry coke. All cups had a very odd yellow tint. Overall very good experience.

Extremely rude staff. I called in a breakfast order 7 minutes before they stopped serving. Told me over the phone they are no longer serving breakfast. Then I had her ask her supervisor and they did in fact still have eggs and were serving breakfast. I asked if I could get a squagel on regular bread. They were not accommodating and at this point I was so fed up I told her I was okay and said thank you and she hung up on me. I will probably still go back though because I like the food…

I absolutely love their food. Try two special perfect portions. Tomato basil soup and chicken pesto sandwich. Very college themed atmosphere, café style. Very friendly service. One of my favorite places to eat in East Lansing.

I still love Cosi even though it’s a chain. Whateva, talk to my hand. Their tomato basil soup is creamy and comforting even though I always think tomato soup sounds super boring. And their signature salad is yummy with fruit and gorgonzola cheese tossed in. Fun fact, for some of their items(like the signature salad) you can get a «lighter side» option with reduced fat dressing and less cheese. Don’t get me wrong, I loves me some cheese, but salads at restaurants are pretty unhealthy sometimes and I will eat all cheese in front of me at all times so I try to be proactive and limit my proximity to it. Sometimes. Get that shiz with a side of their amazing bread and dunk it in the soup and be happy. Don’t be a loser and get a side of carrots(unless you got a sandwich. Then you probably have enough bread). Oh also I like their mango smoothies. I had their oatmeal once for take-out and I wasn’t crazy about it. I should’ve gotten brown sugar bc it was crazy bland without it, even though I topped it strawberries and pistachios. Also it wasn’t cooked right and there was a big hard clump at the bottom. So skip that maybe. Get a squagel if you want breakfast and just enjoying saying squagel all morning. SQUAGEL! Could anything be more fun to say?

I just went there to get take out. I ordered soup and the Adobo Chicken salad. Got back to my hotel room and there was NO chicken in my salad! I had to walk all the way back there. Check your orders before you leave!
