I get so frustrated that stylish doesn’t necessarily mean comfort. I have been to MJM numerous times and always leave empty handed. Their styles(for me) are lacking and those that are comfortable, aren’t stylish! They are usually a year behind on the style front. I just prefer to order from Zappos… even when I am in a bind.

Not a fan. Sure there were some classic shoes there for cheap prices I could’ve made work but it was not the shoe lovers heaven I thought it’d be. Well, unless you’re looking for some tacky, cheaply made, or defective shoes in a small selection of sizes. Prices are affordable. If you need a funky shoe to wear to a crazy night out the club, this is your spot. If you’re looking for every day work shoes or well-made athletic sneakers this isn’t your place. Some of the shoes were outright tacky. Stripper-ish, even. Sure, the brands are there, but it’s really a selection of worst of. Now, if you’re looking to buy a suitcase or a backpack, this is your place. Customers who were there when I was there brought their screaming kids. They tearing the place to shreds, throwing shoes everywhere and screaming while running up and down the aisles. Parents nor management did nothing to fix the situation. Rude. Return policy states nothing about payment with gift cards. In my opinion, return policy should be all-encompassing and not leave it up to me to assume. I only went there because I had a gift card. I will not return unless I need something cheap for a costume party.

Let me start off my saying… I LOVESHOES! I love each shoe equally — full price, discount, unattainable, flat, boots, sequenced, stilettos, wedges, any color, etc., you name a shoe and I love it! I’m the looser that goes to Bloomies for fun to touch and stare at shoes. So that should tell you something… But enough about shoes… This store is a hit or miss. First, I think the location is not optimal. Second, the customer demand. Third, sneakers are not works of art but a uniform(running, basketball, etc.) and they have a lot of uniform shoes. That being said, the prices for everything are decent. There are not many«designer» shoes, maybe a CK shoe every now and then, but it doesn’t get higher then that. Customer service is lacking. I don’t go shoe shopping and go here… I would go here if I am bored and wanna take a chance. Although, I have found great uniform Tims here because i was looking for snow boots during this impossible winter season where it snowed every Wednesday! Grrrrr MJM is ok but for an avid shoe lover, it is boring. Better discounts at DSW and the selection is more exciting.

This is one of my favorite shoe places ever and I come here every time I go home to visit my parents. I always walk away with at least one pair of shoes and one time I even managed to get 5 pairs for about $ 125 – what a great deal! They have pretty much everything – formal shoes, casual shoes, pumps, flats, boots, sandals. There are even children’s shoes and men’s shoes. The clearance rack never fails me – you have to spend some time looking through a couple layers of shelves, but I always find something. Somehow, I always get compliments on the shoes I buy here – maybe it’s because I live out of town and the same styles aren’t sold here – who knows? I just know I like coming to get shoes – they’re cute and I don’t have to feel guilty about the cost.

Dude, I bought three pairs of shoes today. Can you believe it? I hate shoes. Rocket Dogs, some that I had been wanting for months… but not for $ 50+, ya know? And some other shoes that are tight. Three pairs, $ 75. Not too bad. My head really hurts right now. Someone come smash it, pls.

MJM is a fabulous, increasingly not-so-secret outpost of discount designer shoes. Its convenient location(right in an alley of big-box retailers on Rt. 10) makes it a great place to hunt for shoes during a weekend shopping trip. The prices range from good to unbelievable, and the stock is much better than, say, DSW — MJM carries high-end brands like Prada, Gucci, and Marc Jacobs. Some of my recent scores have included Delman heels for $ 40 and a Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag for $ 55! MJM is a must-visit store for any shoe lover.
