Went to Po’s with a group of friend’s for a birthday dinner. We were a giggly bunch. The food was amazing. I had the drunken noodles with tofu. I wish I could remember the appetizers we had, but the were DELICIOUS! I did bring my family shortly after. My boys had the pu pu platter. There was something about the egg rolls that we didn’t like the taste. And the crab Rangoon was not a hit. That time I had the Sesame Tofu, and it was tasty, but not as good as the Drunken noodles. My husband had the pad Thai noodles. He liked it(I did not) All in all, we enjoy Po’s Rice & Spice. I look forward to finding new favorites!

Great atmosphere at Po’s! If you like beer, definitely try the«Chimay pale ale» on their beer list. delicious! Food and service was great. I had the«build your own» shrimp, bok chop and red curry meal. Awesome place! Will definitely be back!

Place is great — refined but not stiff at all — I don’t know of another place where you can eat Asian cuisine with classical jazz in the background…

I want to start my review by saying that this was my first time here. I was meeting friends who had nothing but great things to say about the food. The menu had a large selection with reasonable prices. We each had a different item from the«specials» menu and all were very good. However, the atmosphere was another story. Walking in, the restaurant appeared inviting; until I was seated in the«bottom area» which is the porch, and was told«we are trying to get the heat up in here». It was so cold in this area that everyone at my table, and most of the others diners seated out there, ate with their coats on. It was not the worst thing in the world, however, I do prefer a comfortable atmosphere when dining out. The wait staff apologized numerous times and stated the problem was being looked into. I would hate to see this problem with the climate control interfere with the success of this place. It was busy on a cold winter Tuesday night. I know I will go back to try some of the different dishes offered here, but probably not until the spring or when I can reserve a table in the upper level which was warmer.

Let me update my review! So after my review I heard back from Po’s and they told me to call and they would personally take care of my order. I called and ordered mango chicken and seafood amazing with steamed dumplings. Twenty minutes later we were eating the best mango chicken we have ever eaten. It was a spicy and sweet coconut curry dish. The seafood was very good too. The scallops were big and cooked perfectly. It’s was over crunchy angel rice noodles. The dumpling were tasty. The best part though was Po’s conversation with us. She was warm, friendly and truly happy we came back. We will be back for sure and we THANKYOU for your generous offer and delicious food.

My husband and I reserved a table facing the street last night. We had a play date at Goodspeed. We had soups to start. I had hot and sour soup. He had coconut soup with chicken. I ordered macadamia fried rice with chicken. He had Jenny Peking duck. I was delighted they had Thai iced tea. The restaurant got busy as the evening progressed. By 7pm, patrons were coming in. I could see parking could be tricky. The three wait staff were busy and we had to wait a while for the

This is probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It’s flavorless and completely drenched in oil. My boyfriend and I have tried this place twice, and completely hated it.

We had an outstanding dinner experience from start to finish. From the beautifully renovated interior to the friendly greeting from the owner and the outstanding service by Meg, we were ready to feast… and feast we did. The menu was great, and included lots of gluten free options for a member of our party. We will definitely be back to try more of Po’s options.

This restaurant looks comfy and inviting from the outside, and it has mostly good reviews here, so we decided to try it. We were a party of five at 7pm on a Thursday night. We had reservations but didn’t need them — there were plenty of open seats.(We were told it’s busier on the weekends and reservations are recommended on weekends.) I forgot to take a picture of the interior, but there is another post on Unilocal that has a picture that shows the interior well. It is very stylish, cool and comfortable — small, but the tables are not jammed together. I can’t speak to the noise level because it wasn’t busy when we were there. My fiancé had Po’s Seafood Amazing which was very fresh(and colorful), with a mild and tasty broth. I had the Honey Duck which was cooked perfectly and served in a fantastic sauce. The rest of the party had the salmon special served over a bed of fresh, cooked spinach. See pix. Everyone was very happy with their meals, though the salmon portions were on the small side. I’ve read different comments about the pricing. We thought it was a bit high, but opinions on pricing vary, so I’ll let you decide: we had five entrées, four glasses of wine(they do have their liquor license now) and one dessert, and it came to $ 26/person before tip. Recommend! (Since writing this review, we found another Asian dining spot with great food at much better prices. Although the atmosphere at this other place is more family-style, and not as cozy/romantic as Po’s, we’re more likely to return to the other place.)

Every time we visit, we try something new and I’m afraid we’re out of options(been eating there every week since they opened) ;) food is out of this world — fresh, innovative, delicious… you have to try the honey duck if you go. Also, the seafood amazing is truly amazing. Parking is available across the street — what a welcome addition to the little village downtown!

We have eaten here many times now and found that everything is very good. Lemon grass chicken is one of my favorites. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. Heading there again today for lunch.

I choose from the dinner menu, the build your own signature dish, with chicken as my protein, string beans as my veggie, and the Thai basil & chili sauce(this is in their spicy mussels appetizer). Now this sauce is not listed on their options of sauces, but you can request it(I would definitely recommend it). It isn’t very spicy, I would say more on the mild side, but it is creamy and delicious. The picture I took and posted is my leftovers(and they fill the container to the top with greens beans, chicken, and sauce). The portion is not small since it is a dinner portion. You also get rice in a container to eat with it. Also their Thai ice tea is fabulous(which is new to the menu). I also recommend getting their spicy mussels in Thai basil & chili sauce. The only meal I have ordered that I didn’t care for was the garlic chicken(it was different from what I am used to), but I am not going to give them a lower rating because I didn’t like one out of the many dishes I have tried.

My daughter and I went to Po’s for dinner recently, with 2 grandkids, ages 2 and 4. We were seated near the front windows. The service was efficient as well as pleasant and professional. The waitress brought tea and pop corn while we checked the menu. Drinks appropriate for the children right away so they didn’t get bored waiting, with the hors d’oevres. The meal was great, as my friends have said it was. It was easy to keep the children entertained and it was a very good experience. I recommend it to others, even if you have young children with you!

My favorite new restaurant in East Hampton. The dining room has been done in such a fresh, clean and comfortable way. The portions are huge but affordable. My whole family had a wonderful evening. I loved the General Tso’s chicken. Great spice on the sauce. The staff is so friendly and nice. Great new spot!

I have been here for take out 4 times in the past couple on months. I have never actually eaten in the restaurant. However the improvements to the exterior and the interior are nothing short of outstanding. Parking here is unusual I recommend parking to the right of the building or next store at the Board of Education. We have sampled 12 or so different dinner and lunch combos items on the menu and they were all good; not great but good! All the food was hot and fresh, and not heavy like some Asian food can be. The negative for this restaurant is price and portion size. For the price I would expect a slightly larger portion.

I’ve enjoyed Po’s for lunch at least 6 times since the opening. The lunch combinations are large enough, without being too much for $ 7.50. I’ve eaten in, as well as ordered as take out. I’ve tried the drunken noodles, macadamia fried rice, basil chicken, and black bean and garlic chicken(drunken noodles and fried rice my favorites so far). Food has come out promptly each time. The dining room is a bit cold(temperature and atmosphere) but the staff is friendly, but seems very new(maybe first years). The complimentary popcorn and tea, as well as the warm washcloth are nice bonuses. I will be checking out the larger dinner menu in the very near future.

I ate here the first week they were open and had a very nice experience. I came in on a Saturday evening with my boyfriend to try it out since we live within walking distance. I enjoyed the ambiance and décor. We were seated at one of the front windows which I had really hoped for. Service was prompt and our waitress Megan was great. I appreciate the hot tea and popcorn that you are served while browsing the menu. I know they are working on their liquor license, so my boyfriend ran over to the package store next door and picked out a bottle of wine to pair with our meal. I am a huge fan of Thai food and frequently order drunken noodles when I try new places, so that is what I chose. The noodles were perfect as was the chicken. I do wish there was more of a variety of vegetables in my dish. There were only red and green peppers, that were cut into rather large chunks; not common to the drunken noodles I am used to. Regardless, the dish was very good. My boyfriend had the Mongolian Beef which I tried as well. It was delicious. So much so that we ordered some as take out a week later because we thought it was excellent. The food here is very clearly homemade and prepared with care by the chef. It is not even comparable to any of the Chinese restaurants in town. The beef was tender, and the vegetable assortment was nice. It is served in a brown sauce that we loved. East Hampton lacks quality dining, so Po’s makes for a great addition.
