Excellent class! was in town and visited this studio as a drop-in after finding it online. I had been to a class the day before at another studio in town and was kind of disappointed with how mellow it was. I usually try and push myself as far as possible, and so am always on the look out for a rigorous practice. Well that I got. It was an open class led by Jessica Bellofatto, who opened by asking if anyone had requests. One woman called out«core» and Jessica took that and ran with it. I was dripping sweat about 20 minutes into it. Jessica was super attentive and talked us through the anatomy of each pose and also came around and gave adjustments, which I feel is essential for any good instructor. I will definitely be back.

Kama Deva is a really nice, no frills studio, two mins away from the village proper of EH. A few of the teachers are excellent for both beginners and for upper level practices(Tonia, Jessica, Lois, Dwight). If you’re in EH and want yoga, this is the place. Tip: Unlike the ritzy NYC places, KD does not offer towels or showers, etc. I also bought my own mat for this place.

My brother and I took a restorative yoga class over labor day weekend. It was his very FIRSTEVER yoga class and it seemed like the staff/teachers were not as attentive to him as a new student as I have seen at other Yoga studios(despite our mentioning it at check in). Otherwise, the studio seems very nice. Clean, helpful props. Nice ambience. I particularly enjoyed the restorative class and hope to make it back to the studio next time I’m in town. I wish they had student discounts though.

Love this place! Great instructors, nice vibe, very un-hamptony and focused on the practice of yoga. Good for all levels — very friendly.
