An excellent, thoughtfully curated selection, decent prices, and a cheerful, knowledgable staff. The owner, Jacques (who, in the interest of transparency, I should note has become a friend), really knows his stuff and comes with a food and wine pedigree: his father, the late Pierre Franey, was a well-​known chef, cookbook author, TV personality, and oenophile who lived in the Springs.

This has been our go-​to liquor store for years. The staff are very helpful and make good recommendations. When my husband and i needed a bottle of champagne for our wedding the manager really took the time to tell us about some off-​the-​beaten path houses. We ended up with a truly superb champagne and yet another reason to keep coming back.
